Julienas is a wine town that has seen better times and now...
Julienas is a wine town that has seen better times and now looks rather sad with so many empty or poorly maintained properties. A walk along the edge of the stream (which passes through the town) is interesting. The wine cellar tour looks interesting.

The room was impeccably clean, contemporary styling with Tea and Coffee making facilities and good air conditioning. Breakfast was amazing with great coffee. We had a meal in the hotel’s restaurant on our last evening and it was a gastronomic delight. So many thanks to Christine and Alain for giving us such a memorable holiday in their beautiful hotel.

Lovely building and gardens (with small pool), wonderful couple who run it and great breakfast. Only slight downside was we arrived late and there is no restaurant but the helpful man who runs the hotel arranged for us to go to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Breakfast is good. Many options to choose from. We had a superieur room, but got the handicapped room which goes for the same price but is in fact a bit smaller. Friendly owner and friendly staff. There is a wine tasting where you can taste 6 wines. Free of charge.
