Very hospitable host and hostess at hotel. In spite of my very poor French and their marginally better English, we managed to communicate and the hotel staff went out of their way to assist us, including contacting and driving us to the local garage when we had a tyre puncture.

The location was superb, being close enough to the Le Mans circuit to make it a perfect base for visiting the race, but it felt as if we were much further away on the banks of the loire. We loved the Le Mans theme of the hotel and its outlook onto a pretty square.
Fabulous dinner
Fabulous Room
I had wanted to visit for years due to the Hotel De France's long association with the Le Mans 24 race. Usually I find places fail to live up to expectations. Not so in this case. Glad we finally managed to visit
The breakfast was just fine. The location was within easy walking distance of the little town centre with its collection of hotels , shops and restaurants. And our charming host was very helpful in locating our mislaid mobile phone for us!👌
Bedroom in annex was very comfortable.
Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Safe parking at rear in small car park was a bonus. The hotel is steeped in motor racing history which I found fascinating and interesting.
We love this place because of the motorsport history attached to it. The town is lovely & peaceful. Everything about this hotel is lovely, great staff, excellent restaurant, easy to park, just love it!
WE HAVE BEEN THERE SEVERAL TIMES AND FIND IT VERY WELCOMING AS WE BREAK OUR JOURNEY TO THE DORDOGNE. WE LOVE THE AMBIENCE AND HISTORY OF THE HOTEL AND IT IS GEOGRAPHICALLY PLACED JUST WHER WE NEED IT.
Great hotel especially if you are into historic cars and Le Mans. If you are not then this is a great hotel with nice clean and stylish rooms, well appointed and comfortable.
This is a quintessential destination for those who like perfect French rural hotels. `Its location is outstanding. its decor fits the ideal dream and you won't find better.
Perfect hotel on the town square in this beautiful and quiet part of France. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
