Just what we needed a shower a bed and somewhere to park. Only 30mins from Calais too.
The is the ideal start and end to a trip to France.
The is the ideal start and end to a trip to France. No early morning crossings, just a convenient and less busy lunchtime or afternoon crossing, followed by a short drive to Le Wast, a warm welcome and a relaxing evening and superb dinner before setting off the next morning. The same on the way back with a relaxed crossing mid-morning to avoid the queues. All our European driving holidays start and end this way.

Beautiful and lovely pet friendly 'home' away from home even...
Beautiful and lovely pet friendly 'home' away from home even tho it was a hotel. We will most definitely stay again as it is only 20+/-minutes to the Chunnel crossing. A good mattress and a great shower are very important to me...this exceeded in both. Lovely grounds to walk the pooch.

If you are looking for a hotel convenient to the Calais...
If you are looking for a hotel convenient to the Calais terminals, this is a no brainer: why would you even look at Campanile, Formula 1, Brit Hotel when you could stay in a reasonably priced hotel located in a quiet village? The plus was the quality of the dinner. Better than a Hippopotamus and actually cheaper! My car was in complete security, which is not the case closer to Calais. This is a quiet village location, the drive to Eurotunnel check in took just 35 minutes. It is not Relais and Chateaux quality, but it is a good value for money hotel stop.
Dinner was delicious and the hotel has an excellent wine list. We were able to have a drink on the terrace before dinner which was lovely. Sadly it was too cold to eat outside like the last time when we were there. The staff are very attentive and make you feel welcome. We have stayed at Chateau des Tourelles before and would return. It has been run by the same family for decades.
Breakfast is always good with a great selection of fresh bread and pastries. There are also other breakfast options like eggs and cereals.
Fantastic, family run hotel within easy reach of the tunnel and ferry ports so perfect for a stop over on the way to or from a holiday in France and beyond. The restaurant is excellent, with a good choice of delicious, beautifully presented dishes and the “cheese cart” is wonderful! The staff are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the newly decorated lounge area is the perfect place for a pre dinner drink. Can’t recommend this lovely hotel enough, it’s just lovely.
This beautiful hotel is clearly a much loved family business and it really shows with the care they go to to make the stay a lovely experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the dining room was fabulous and all the decor is beautifully in-keeping with the style of the hotel. The food was absolutely AMAZING!! There is a large garden around the hotel and plenty of parking. It’s perfect for stopping over for the Shuttle.
What a great alternative to the usual motorway hotels. Just a 10 minute detour from our route to the Channel Tunnel and so worth it - we are so pleased we discovered Chateau Des Tourelles! The staff were great, room and beds comfy and grounds beautiful and quiet. Dinner deserves a special mention, as it was the best meal we had in France, absolutely stunning. Merci à tous - we'll be back! :-)
Lovely traditional French hotel in a great spot. The owners & staff were very helpful and friendly and there was plenty of room to walk the dog. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the restaurant which was simply excellent. Just for the restaurant alone, we would stay again!
Gorgeous hotel, located in the middle of beautiful rural area. Excellent, helpful staff. Nice room and territory.
Perfect stay if you're looking for French rural experience.
