Good location for birding, cycling, bus into La Rochelle and driving to other destinations. Chalet was too small for my liking and boxed in by other chalets but did have a nice veranda. Swimming Pool was excellent. There appeared to be a lot of people staying who were working in the area - this led to a lot of early morning noise not expected from other holidaymakers.

If I had seen a picture if the cabin I would not have booked the pictures shown in the booking site mostly show larger cabins and ones on the outside edge if the site where we were they were too close together and you could hear every sound any neighbour made

L'Houmeau is a small coastal village area not far from La Rochelle. It was good to visit the larger spectacular seaside/port town, but very welcoming to get home to the smaller friendly environment of L'Houmeau with its local shops and restaurants. It's a very smart and clean environment and if you are lucky enough to live there - very well done.

The lady owner was delightful.
The lady owner was delightful. The location to La Rochelle airport was very convenient. The area immediately around the property is business and commerce but venture another mile/ kilometer and there are lovely coastal views and beaches.The breakfast was fantastic with home made Brioche , freshly made pancakes and home made conserves as well as many different purchased confitures. I hope to return again. Safe and secure locked parking area.
