We specifically chose the location in St Mere Eglise as part of our tour of the Normandy beaches. Our room at the hotel was vey comfortable with two single beds as I requested. Breakfast was very good, served by the owner and his wife, who were excellent hosts.

This is a truly interesting place, with its own little piece of WWII history. It's very well-located for visiting the D-Day beaches. Emilie is a charming host and full of information about the area. It's extremely good value for money, and the breakfast is amazing - great coffee and a different delicious pastry each day, with several different home-made jams. The room, bathroom and shower were all very good. We loved it here.

The D day theme and knowledge of the hosts were excellent. They provided an itinerary of where to go and you even had the option to be driven in an original Willys Jeep.
The breakfast was delicious and was set out really well. If returning to the area I would definitely return!

It is a very quiet and peaceful little village on the banks of the river Douve. It has one very small pub/eatery that I know of, and the nearest shop is about four km away in Chef du Pont. Ir is close to Carentan and Ste Mere Eglise, where lots happened during the Invasion.
