Excellent location for both the town and train station.
We enjoyed an evening meal and found the staff helpful when we left luggage because of an early arrival.
The recorded voice in the lift for the floor announcements were great. The board games and table football were fun too.

It is unacceptable that there is no one on-site outside of 3-10pm.
I had to cancel both days of exploring Limoges because I could not leave my suitcase in the hotel.
This is a budget hostel.
Also, the prices posted at the hotel are massively lower than on booking.com.
Price largely implies quality so I was hugely disappointed.
$150 in Limoges should imply an hotel with a reception!!

There is lots of interesting places to visit and many good restaurants. Pity one can only really eat one dinner per evening! It's a compact city with all sites that one may wish to visit in easy walking distance for the able and lots of public transport for those who are not. Also, they have a free bus that one waves down to take you on a trip around the city though we didn't use it.

Good restaurants and as a meat eater would recommend El boeuf a la mode. Worthwhile to visit early in the day the fresh produce market in the city center. Although not in the city center a visit to Bernardaud to see Limoge porcelain is worth it, despite the fact that, the prices are exorbitant. The countryside around the city is worth exploring with a number of small towns including close.

Being an experienced traveller around various parts of the world,I can recommend Limoges as one of my favourites. The people are very helpful, most spoke some English. Getting around is easy due to a very efficient public transport system. Many and varied eating options, bars, without getting ripped off!
Only downside to Limoges is,there is no public transport into the city,so a taxi each way (28-30 euros)
3/4 days is adequate to see the all of the major sites (the porcelain museum is a must)

Three days is about right to leisurely enjoy Limoges, which is very accessible as a pedestrian to the central area. My only comment if planning a stay would be to note that the majority of museums are closed both Tuesday and Wednesday.

You could see it in a day so two nights was perfect and although I always pass Limoges on train journeys I was pleased I stopped and gave it a look I would not go out of my way for a visit but I felt very safe and it was remarkably clean

Nice city with interesting history. we stayed a couple of days on route to our holiday destination and stayed in the North of the city good for restaurants, bars and shops. City is too big to "do" in 24 hours.
The Hotel de Paris was delightful. It is a hotel with old world charm. The owner/receptionist had obvious pride in his property and made sure we were comfortable. He was very willing to book dinner reservations and was full of suggestions of what to see. Our lovely room looked out over a park and on to the magnificent train station, which was a 10-15 minute walk. Town was a comfortable walk in the other direction; maybe 20 minutes depending on where we were going. Would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is in a great city centre location within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants. The reception staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful during our stay. Our bedroom was clean and the facilities were good. The breakfast buffet was extensive and good quality. It was easy to use the (chargeable) secure underground car park just down the street which has direct access to the hotel reception.
The room was clean and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owners were pleasant and friendly.
There was a good bus service into the centre of the city but on foot it was a good 20-25 minute walk to the centre so l’Aiglon is not exactly centrally situated.
However, it is a one star hotel and therefore simple and basic and that needs to be borne in mind in relation to this review.
Very nice space, offering 2 beds separated in distinct areas.
Small kitchen space with all the necessary available.
Well located, parking is covered and we left the car there past the checkout time (with the owners agreement) to easily stroll in Limoges.
Breakfast served on the terrace when weather allows, or brought to your room (that was our case as it was a rainy day).
Friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is easy to find as it’s close to the A20
It’s clean, and tidy with few frills but as it’s an ibis this isn’t unexpected.
The staff were extremely helpful and helped me with my embarrassingly poor french.
The restaurant was more or less closed with only a snack menu available but the food was hot when it hot to us snd most importantly the bar was open
Beautifully decorated, newly refinished and charming property next to the cathedral.
The rooms are fresh with each one having a theme that connects to Limoges.
Easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, shopping and attractions.
The owner is gracious, helpful and accomodating. Can’t say enough good things about him! 10/10.
we came here as a team after being treated terribly by the “hotel de Paris” next door. This place saved our work trip from becoming a complete disaster! Hotel was clean, modern, efficient check in and check out process. would definitely stay here again if we need to come back to Limoges!
The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed.
The location was within walking distance of the train station and the historic city center, with several excellent restaurants nearby.
Use of the QR entry code worked flawlessly once my phone was recognized.
We loved the apartment-hotel concept and the entry code system of access. The facilities were excellent. I especially appreciated the Nespresso machine. Delphine was very helpful on our arrival and gave us a great suggestion for a local restaurant.
Everything, best price/quality I have ever stayed in France. The flat was in the historic city center very close to the cathedral. We even found free parking in the street. The flat was perfect and had everything needed.
The room was clean and tidy.
The hotel was also close enough to be central however not too close to the centre to be excessively noisy or busy.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff. Great service in the restaurant with excellent attention given to my husband's nut and seafood allergies ( in contrast to our experience in other French hotels).
Bedrooms were quite spacious.
Parking available at the hotel.
Breakfast on the patio outdoors.
Location excellent for town centre.
Clean and beds were comfortable.
