Shower has very good temperature (it wasn't cold)

The location of the hotel is great for a stop off before/after a ferry crossing on a journey to Southern France. I use this hotel because it is a 9 hour journey to Loon Plage from my home in the North East of England. The onward journey is about 10 hours to get to the Alps for a ski trip. The fuel station and supermarket next door are superb for stocking up on essentials for an onward journey.

Just a good place for the ferry terminal.
Just a good place for the ferry terminal. Close to Dunkirk if you want to do tourist stuff. Otherwise just a stop over place. Poivre Rouge restaurant across the roundabout is good, has English menus and done staff speak English. Small supermarket next door for basics.

Loon Plage is inoffensive and handy for the ferry but there is not much else to be said for it. The shops and restaurants, such as they are, seem to open only for a few hours per day. If you are staying here, bring plenty of books to read, because it won't take long to sample the delights of the town.

We stay at Loon Plage Kyriad or Premiere Classe each time we visit France as we prefer to start off on our French adventure from here, as a 5hr drive to Dover from home leaves us tired. Loon Plage fits the bill perfectly, and Le Poivre Rouge grill restaurant is a great diner.

Loon-Plage is a small village located literally on the perimeter of Dunkirk Ferry Terminal; this means if you want to overnight somewhere for an early morning springboard either into France, or for your ferry home, you cannot do better. There is an excellent restaurant sited just adjacent to the four main hotels.

Value for money and serves the purpose of overnight stay for the ferry before or after your holiday.
Good location for ferry
Supermarket and reasonably priced self service Flunch restaurant within 10 minutes drive.
Adequate parking
Convenient place to stay overnight straight off the ferry at the start of our cycle holiday from Dunkirk to Holland. In green surroundings, supermarket nearby, friendly flexible receptionist.
Interestingly, the bikes are kept inside the room.
Loon-plage is a nice quiet village for a wander in the evening.
The Hotel was simple but very clean. The staff was so helpful as we spoke English and they spoke French but they were more than willing to speak into our translator so we could communicate. The breakfast was very nice, nothing fancy but more than enough selections
The hotel is value for money if you just want a cheap 1 night stay and don't mind a small room. The room smelled clean, the bed linen nice and crisp. There was a kettle in the room which was handy. Check in was quick and easy, no problems.
Very practical room, very good bathroom, AC, lights, electric socket for charging phone near bed
a simple hotel, very well located near Ferry port. Parking on street, well lit, felt safe.
AC, electric blinds,
Loved the room with a door to a grassy area- perfect for the dog. Also walking around the goats field and around the hotel was practical for the dog. We were allowed to eat on the veranda with our dog
We love this hotel it’s our go-to every year to start and finish our holiday. It’s very convenient for the port, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are lovely.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is 6 minutes away from the car ferry terminal. Easy to park your car at the back or the front of the hotel.
