The location was brilliant, as you come out of the hotel there is a Buffalo grill and a complete host of fast food restaurants, including a pizza shop. This hotel is definitely worth a visit, especially if you want to explore Bordeaux as the transport links are great. The locked car park was also good as it gave peace of mind for safety of the motorbike.

The apartment was really nice and very comfortable, light and quiet. The double bed was firm and there are proper shutters to keep the bedroom and the living-room dark, the sofa bed is good for 1 adult, a bit tight for 2. The kitchen has absolutely everything you might need (but no dishwasher). The apartment is ideal for a couple + 1 child and/or 1 extra adult, but a bit tight for 4 (manageable but tight). Very well situated: less than 5 minutes walk from the tramway (which then takes you to the historic centre of Bordeaux in 20 minutes. It takes 30 minutes to la cité du vin (tram + bus over the pont Chaban-Delmas). 5 minutes walk from a big supermarket and small shopping center. The instructions to get in were very clear. The view from the apartment was nice and open (but you can't really see Bordeaux, a little bit of the bridges Chaban-Delmas and Aquitaine). The balcony is very pleasant. The owner answers quickly.
