We visited on a Sunday evening about 7.30 so this isn’t a true reflection of what is on offer, as most of the eateries were closed or on the point of closing (normal for France out of holiday season?).
The beach was wide and clean looking, with people strolling along, horses being ridden along the shoreline, and lots of kite surfers enjoying the wind - very peaceful.
Good selection of eateries - pizzerias, fish restaurants, gastro pubs and bars as well as ice- cream parlours and hot snack outlets - all reasonably priced - next time we’ll plan a weekday visit!

Good location off main road - short drive in either direction to towns - short walk over path onto the beach- perfect for a short stay ( we only stayed one night as last minute booking due to problems with our original hotel- nothing to do with Booking.com ) lovely breakfast in the room - fridge and microwave - friendly host although not much English spoken- beach style decorations with private outdoor decking/sitting area- on site parking
The breakfast choice was excellent and tasted really good. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We unfortunately left a personal item behind but the hotel telephoned us to let us know and are keeping the item safe until we can collect on our return journey.
Clean, modern, harmonious decoration. Everything is within 50 meters. Family run hotel that is very caring and professional. The two story family room for 4 adults (kids are 16 and up) was ideal, spacious, comfortable, clean - we all slept very well.
Charming and very well kept B&B style hotel almost directly on a lovely stretch of beach. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds, plus a very tasty buffet breakfast with fresh bread from the local bakery - definitely above what you’d expect.
Lovely hotel in great situation, near centre and also beach but in quiet area. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Only negative was that because of season the hotel's restaurant was closed - shame as their menu looked great.
Breakfast was lovely. location great and staff were knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help. cleaners were fantastic and could be seen busy cleaning around the hotel. the pool areas were also in good repair and very clean.
Amazing and beautiful place, the staff and the owner are respectful, but you have to be at the before the afternoon at the hotel, the reception will be closed around 8 pm, and you will feel at home sweet home
Arrived late but check-in went smoothly including with the new Covid pass check. Its a great small hotel in a very useful location. It is to my mind much preferable to the chain hotels in the Caen suburbs
