Quite simply Outstanding Value - Firstly there was a little garden for our dog to run around in, the first we had on our 12 day trip, so he was happy! The accommodation was tastefully decorated and had everything you could ever need. Very comfortable bed too. We shall certainly be returning whenever we come near the area again!

The front door to the lobby was locked when we arrived in the afternoon. The lobby and desk area lights turned off every few seconds while we were check ing in. There were no other guests around and only 1-2 cars outside. The halls were dimly lit. There was no elevator and our room was on the 2nd floor. There was no hot water machine for coffee or tea in the room. It was close to Giverny and that is the only thing positive about this hotel.Helena - 10Scored 10

This was the second time we have stayed here en route to the South of France and back. It is a real find and the staff were absolutely perfect. In fact the whole stay was perfect. Restaurant was serving great food as well. Small hotel which we loved. Will definitely stay there next time we head south.

When we discovered that our allocated room was on the second floor, accessed by a steep and narrow staircase, we requested a room on a lower floor and were relocated to an excellent room on the first floor with views over the adjacent River Eure. We dined in the restaurant twice and enjoyed outstanding meals. The waiting staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The secure free parking was much appreciated.

We stayed just before Christmas and the gardens and public areas were decorated and lit up. The restaurant was good and the staff very friendly. Good and generous breakfast. We are sorry our stay was so brief as we arrived late and needed to leave in the morning quite early. We have promised ourselves another more leisurely visit in the future.

The service was excellent the food was delicious the breakfast was exceedingly generous. The dining room looked out on a beautiful river side setting. Our room was large with an outdoor terrace that was very private. And the town was a beautiful little town set along a beautiful river.
