The staff at ‘the People’ have been very caring and extremely supportive in helping me with my difficult and changing circumstances. The friendly atmosphere around the bar in the evening provides a friendly and homely atmosphere. I couldn’t have hoped for more. They have been wonderful.

It's a small but very nicely run hotel. I'm not sure but I think that when I was there that I was the only guest which I think caused the managers some difficulties (it was out of season - end of February). The two guys who run it were super friendly and helpful and there was a really nice breakfast. It's also really well located near the main street with the tram. And there are lots of nice restaurants nearby, including a Lebanese one almost next door. It's probably not the sort of hotel to go to if you like hanging about in the hotel all day as there isn't really a lounge or foyer. It's just bedroom and a breakfast lounge, but great if you want somewhere overnight and a stopping off place for visiting the area.
