The staff were warm and welcoming and helped us have a pleasant stay. The rooms were a good size and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked nicely. Our party had 2 rooms and an issue with the toilet in one room was fixed while we ate dinner. So 10 out of 10 for efficiency. The room had a kettle and facilities to make drinks. The private decking outside each unit was a nice touch and provided a good view down the valley. We enjoyed a good meal and wine at reasonable prices and breakfast was adequate being typical of a continental breakfast. Overall a very pleasant stay and would stay again and recommend.

Lovely house with a large and beautiful garden. I had a very relaxing time at La Maison du Marchand. The room had a very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed sitting at the table in the garden under a tree reading a book while being surrounded by plants, trees and singing birds. I also enjoyed the breakfast with fruits freshly picked from the garden as well as the very kind and welcoming hosts.
