Due to traffic problems in Italy and Switserland , we arrived very late (past 21), but nevertheless the owner was very helpfull and served us a warm meal , which we appreciated a lot. The comfort of the room was basic , but good enough for 1 night.

East to find near motorway. Check in simple and room was a room for people with disabilities even though we did not require it so plenty of room. The restaurant was excellent with a wide ranging menu and the waiting staff were first class.

Newly built hotel, furniture and room equipment are very fresh. We've stayed in family room at the very end of the corridor - was very quite, good sound isolation. Was very appealing to notice cards on some furniture/ decoration both in the room and hotel facilities - that these objects used to serve other people (with names). So basically hotel gave new life to those nice objects (apart from obvious financial benefit - serves sustainability greatly). Clean dishes and utensils. Drinks and freshly squeezed juices at breakfast. Large variety of loose tea. Free parking Friendly personnel speaking English in case your knowledge of French is limited

The parking area was only accessible through a coded gantry-applicable at night, which made it feel safe parking there. There were four of us and the room given had many beds, thereby allowing a pack of 5 to sleep in it comfortably. It was quiet even though the room was facing the main street and perhaps being off season, I didn't hear any footsteps along the carpeted corridor.

We stayed here in early September as part of a self-guided biking holiday with a group of friends. This is an exceptional & sophisticated accommodation in an elegant old home with history and grace. The staff were excellent. The home itself was stunning, and the dining room was regal & so beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional. The three course dinner was sensational, staff were attentive & service was excellent. The grounds are beautiful, serene and inviting. There is ample space & outdoor seating areas to enjoy the outside, including having coffee or tea or aperitifs. Our room was elegant, and we had the bonus of a terrace overlooking the grounds. Overall, this was an amazing place to stay at and beyond what one would expect. The ambiance of this gorgeous place and staff cannot be captured by just describing it! You have to stay here to understand its elegance.
