Perfectly located for our stop traveling from the Netherlands to the Spanish Pyrenees. Communication with Danielle was perfect, she was waiting for us with the keys to the apartment when we arrived.
The location is very nice, close to a square with some bars / restaurants. We prepared our own dinner using the well equipped kitchen and took a stroll around the nice village. We slept really well in the comfortable beds.

Rogny has an interesting role in the areas canal culture, with an historic staircase of 7 locks that lifted canal boats up the nearby hill. The Briare canal goes through the town, but when I visited in September there was little open at predictable hours except the patisserie next door and the pizza place. The Auberge on the corner said they were open at 6 but I never saw them open. The neighboring bar has a nice matron but the choices for food were limited. There is no grocery, and any actual 'restaurants' were closed. In three days I ate 1) Pizza 2) Leftover pizza and 3) bread and cheese purchased in another town. I couldn't wait to leave. Sorry. I enjoyed many of the nearby towns, but at least in September Rogny doesn't offer much.
