It’s a very relaxed resort with mostly french people.
It’s a very relaxed resort with mostly french people. The tide was right up so didn’t see the beaches. Main drawback is that there is no promenade right next to the beach. Houses go right the way up to the water.

Foret de la Coubre is a great dog walking/cycling area (lots of bike hire available) about 15 minutes drive away, not all beaches are dog friendly, but the tides are dangerous anyway. Lots of restaurants still open late September, if you're not a fan of seafood there usually other options available. Also bars with outside seating, lovely for a coffee and watch the world go by. Some restaurants allow dogs in and will even give them a bowl of water, but you can usually find outside seating where you can eat with pooch.JeanFrance

Sadly, the building is starting to show its age, with cracks and holes visible in different places on the façade. Location is great, right in front of the beach, and there's also a very nice pool.
