The people were great. The location wasn’t bad, but due to the cathedral bell going off every hour, or music in the city square…mostly due to needing to have the window open for some fresh air.

Felt like we were at home in this very cozy and beautifully decorated chambre d'hôte. White linen bedding and a comfortable bed.The garden just outside our room was so peaceful, and it was perfectly lit at night. Very inviting for a cocktail, which we didn't have time for this trip. We really appreciated the artwork that was everywhere. Our host, Gilles, was discreet, friendly, knowledgeable about the area and made us feel so welcome in his home. If you are as lucky as we were, Gilles' homemade jam and daily fresh bread made us look forward to breakfast every morning. Wonderful experience and we will be back next year.

Visited La Piscine which isn't what the name implies but a beautifully converted art gallery and in our limited time in Roubaix observed numerous stunning buildings and found a wonderful park on its fringes to spend the last moments of our short visit !

Roubaix has its own charm however it is let down by a small hooligan element who seemed a bit lawless. We tended to stay around our hotel Ibis area and at night kids on motorbikes seemed to just do what they wanted. One of our party got pick pocketted but my friend caught the culprit red handed and actually gave him his wallet back so a decent thief at least 😂. It's not really like the rest of France I've experienced and we were there for the legendary Paris Roubaix bike race and so Roubaix will always be special for us.

I went to Roubaix to do some cycling and really enjoyed the town and the region around it.
The famous old velodrome is open to all to and is simply iconic, imagine being able to take a football to Wembley and just walking in and playing.
The shops and brasseries at the outlet centre are really good, and the local patisseries serve up great pastries.
Once you get out of town, the rural villages in the area are characterful and charming, it all feels great until you hit the famous pave!

Roubaix famous for the velodrome and finish of the Paris -Roubaix is a dirty stinking place. The whole area is full of people begging and rorting. Did not feel safe walking around. One drunk person of African appearance was on the tram standing over everyone for $$. Took 10 stops before security grabbed him. Avoid this place like the plague and watch the race on TV.

The staff were excellent and there was a really great, vibe to the place. Our flight was delayed so we arrived one day late. Booking.com cancelled our booking but the hotel reinstated it without a question. Great service!it is also convenient for Lille but without the high price.
The property is well place with it being close to the metro and a great restaurant “le R de Roubaix” and a small supermarket. The parking is easy and the setup of the key code is simple, the accommodation has a luxury feeling and the beds super comfy we would defo recommend
the person at the reception is the most friendly and helpful person you might find in a hotel in France! for the rest it is good value for money. not luxurious or glamorous but well working and no nonsense. the breakfast is the best I ever had in France!
Great location, friendly staff, very spacious and clean room. Less than 1 min walk from the metro station. You can even order breakfast, lunch or dinner from the “brasserie” underneath the hotel, where the food is delicious (regional dishes, burgers...).
Beautifully renovated early 1900's villa which makes you plunge into the golden industrial age of Roubaix. Very charming and devoted young owners who welcome you with enthousiasm. Walking distance from amazing La Piscine Art Museum.
horrible scam hotel. I booked a room with two beds and got just one. Accommodation refused to provide me with another room.
I’m going through a lengthy process with booking support to resolve this. beware before you book.
Went to ride and watch Paris Roubaix. Good size room, comfortable bed, good location about 10 min walk to centre and allowed bikes in room. Breakfast was good value for money. Shower was particularly good.
The location was perfect for Paris Roubaix weekend. We could easily access the hotel with our bikes and we were not the only ones with bikes. I highly reccommend to stay here during Paris Roubaix.
The staff on reception were Excellent, we didn't expect to have to stay in Roubaix and needed a place to stay at the very last minute. they catered to our every need
Great location close to shops in Roubaix with a restaurant downstairs, very easy to access public transport, fairly basic room but enough for a couple of nights
