The beds were different than the pics in booking, we insisted, hardly changed. We lost time discussing. At nights we needed to pass two gates with password while getting back to hotel, interesting area, no public transp. Towels not changed although we requested beforehand. Last day the coffee/tea machine didn't give beverage but debited our cards many times; we told the reception next day and they said it would be fixed, it took ten days, but prb solved.

Overnight stop for a flight so wouldn't need to go there for any other reason? Motel was dreadful, old, needed lots of attention. After reading reviews and because it was simply an overnight stop we went ahead and booked. Asked for an updated, renovated room too as it was our anniversary! Reception couldn't have cared less about us. "all rooms are renovated"! If ours was renovated it was 1982 when finished! Never again here or any other COMFORT INN!

1. NO shuttle between 8:00 am & 6:00 PM (18:00). DO NOT WALK from Terminal 1 to Comfort hotel: (i) It is practically impossible walking while carrying heavy luggage. (ii) Unsafe especially if you are solo. (iii) Taxi 🚖 is very expensive: 15€ for 1.5 KMs (0.8 miles from Terminal 1 to Comfort hotel) 2. No vending machines on hotel's site (bring your water & drinks with you). 3. A serious FLOOD was by my room's door! I couldn't walk out & staff were very noisy trying to dry out the water lake using very loud equipments for a long time ( I couldn't rest as I was very tired) 4. No coffee maker or coffee in the room. 5. Dirty hot tub: I found HAIR in the hot tub. 6. Breakfast is NOT worth paying ~10 €. 7. It is NOT worth staying at "Comfort" hotel: 120 € + (2* 15€ taxi 🚖) = 150 €/ night It is VERY EXPENSIVE. In sum, They are WAY OTHER hotels by LYS airport. Excellent location 5 minutes from the airport. Room compact but comfortable and very clean. Very quiet despite its proximity to the airport. Receptionist helpful in directing us to a good restaurant as the hotel restaurant was shut on a Saturday night.

shocking, the best thing was a comfortable bed, the rest was just poor condition of the room, bathroom, a kettle supplied but no cups, there were no facilities, tea coffee, water, no soap, shower gel, very basic, with the excuse that cover is to blame, complete poppycock, just an excuse to save money on goods, twice we were interrupted by staff just opening our door, at 8.00 when we didn't need to leave until 12.00 very very shabbyjustinFrance - 10Scored 10

Train station is a three minute walk from Terminal 1 or 2. Train to Paris if you want, or in my case I took the Rhone Express to and from downtown Lyon for 16 euro each way. A cab is expensive to the city. A vaccination center in the basement was convenient. Due to the pandemic, dining choices are limited. The Moxy Hotel is literally inside Terminal 2, which is very convenient for those traveling very early. Security and vaccination inspection were quick and orderly. The airport is the only reason to be there, and it is unbelievably badly designed and organized if you’re in a vehicle, like returning a rental. You need multiple trips around the airport to get gas, then go to returns. Lanes split without indications as to where you’d end up. There is actually an “area of vocaliztion” with a sign. A welcoming smile at Reception and very comfortable beds waiting for us. No need to take a navette or any type of transport. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the two coffee machines worked perfectly (no spills, not stains, no technical problems) which is not often the case!
