Tourcoing has an excellent choice of transport connections...
Tourcoing has an excellent choice of transport connections to Lille. It’s a clean safe modern town with an excellent mid-town shopping centre with an Auchan supermarket and easy parking. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants for all tastes and budgets.LyndallFrance - 6.0Scored 6.0

Close to Tourcoing station, Quick Burger nearby for late arrival but make sure you get correct order before leaving premises as staff seem dippy, we ordered burgers/frites, got to hotel and discovered no burgers, went back and were presented with another bag, when got back to hotel discovered it was only frites, still no burgers but too tired to return again so 18 euros for chips was quite expensive!! Poorly lit carpark at PC so bring torch.

Tourcoing is a pleasant enough place with a fine Cathedral/Church. The Market is lively and the town centre smart. But its real value is as a springboard for trains all over France and therefore Europe. These trains often seem to be a trifle cheaper than similar trains from Lille Paris or Brussels. If one finds air travel unpleasant (the ridiculous business of taking off ones belt and shoes) or perhaps wishes to lower ones carbon footprint, train travel wins on lo many levels so explore the timetables from Tourcoing where you will find Europe at your fingertipsDavidSpain - 10Scored 10
Tourcoing is a good alternative to Lille when arriving from...
Tourcoing is a good alternative to Lille when arriving from the south by train. Tourcoing railway station is very pleasant but unfortunately there are no escalators or lifts so changing lines requires some effort. The Cathedral is beautiful, as are the bells which chime the hour and the arrival of Mass. The Town (98,000 pop approx) will reward all who have time to explore!!DavidSpain

So would sleep 8 without issues. Off road parking behind an automatic gate. Quiet area. Access to Lille via a metro station about 10mins away. Right on the Belgium border. Plenty of towels and the bedding was fresh and clean. Bins were emptied daily. Owner provides pretty much everything you could want from toothpaste to food in the freezer.SimonUnited Kingdom

We enjoyed our two-nights stay in Volpone room with the oriental style interior design. This aesthetic house is a wonderful space that reflects its owner’s artsy personality and taste. I strongly recommend the place and would definitely stay here again.

Next to a busy shopping street, with a large old tower & church right at the end of it! Close to a Metro station as well, which will bring you to Lille in about half an hour. If you're lucky like I was, your room will have a bath tub instead of shower.

There is a bathtub and shower, so we can choose. There is electric car charging available which need hotel card to activate it. The hotel near to 2 supermarkets. The male staff who handle check in was friendly and helping us.

It was also easy to park, we found a place right in front of the accommodation. The street was quiet at night and the bed was comfortable, although not very big.
