Historic building with lots of character. Great easy bicycle parking. The host Sandra met us promptly and allowed us to use the common fridge and kitchen area to prepare our simple breakfast.

Surprising amount of things to see and do here and across the river. The castle museum is small but interesting, there is a walk above town between the ruined towers, a garden to visit, and lots of cafes. I didn't have time for the vineyard tour ride or the chocolate museum :)

The city was crowded when we arrived, too many cars trying to get to the other side of town. Our Hotel was situated on that road and we had to climb 2 stairs to our room. The restaurant we had booked by phone was closed for holidays. Another choice was difficult to make, so we landed in a Creperie, who finally took care of us.

We just stayed overnight here & I think that might be their main market.
Having said that everything was great. Our plane was delayed and communication with the hotel via the Booking.com app was smooth - they were able to re-assure us that their reception stayed open till 11pm.
The room was reasonably large compared to some we've had, it was modern, the bed was comfy & the bathroom also quite a good size.
If like us you're looking for somewhere to overnight then this is a good choice.
Attractive hotel with an interesting, individual layout. Free secure parking. Located on a quiet street but not far from the town centre and easy to reach the main roads. Excellent breakfast - well above average. Friendly staff. Didn't use the restaurant for dinner but it looked extremely popular
Very friendly helpful staff. The hotel is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the twin towns Tournon Sur Rhone and Tain L'Hermitage. The rooms and ensuite are a good size, modern and very clean. There is onsite secure parking and a good selection buffet breakfast if required.
Beautiful hotel in a former silk mill, tastefully restored. Two sitting rooms for guests' use. Very hospitable and helpful owner. On my list of places that definitely must be revisited. Worth a substantial detour.
