The attention to details like candies on the bed, available coffee and hot chocolate pods. The beds were comfortable, too so we really had a resting sleep, although being tall wasn't an advantage for us :)
Florence and David are really responsive and willing to help. The apartment is equipped with clean towels, iron, hair dryer and everything you need when in comes to dishes.
I could see that they did the best they could and I appreciate that!

The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and had a lovely balcony overlooking the Seine. It was well located close to town and close to Giverny. Pascal was kind and helpful. We were sad to leave since it was our last night but overall an excellent stay!

Location and privacy and modern. The bathroom has a mirror that you can touch and it lights up softly or brightly so you don’t need a light when going to the bathroom at night. It was impressive.

A quiet village with a train station that was a 50 minute ride from Paris.Good location for Monets Gardens as there is a toot toot train/shuttle to get to the gardens.
Chateau Bizy worth a visit too.
Vernon lies on the Seine and there is a pleasant walk along the river.

Beautiful picturesque town !
Beautiful picturesque town ! Very quaint cobblestone streets - where one wants to go for endless walks. Clean and away from humdrum and routine life ! Plenty of food options- however most of them seemed closed Monday evenings. A Taco place was thankfully open and where we had dinner- it was excellent.
Very well connected by train from Paris ! Also you can take a taxi !Go visit Vernon🙂

I think, that it is a very nice, romantic town to stay.
I think, that it is a very nice, romantic town to stay. It is very quiet and full of nice people. I´ve catched a rainy weather, so that is the reason, that I would choose next time a longer stay. But there are many options how to get along with your time. You can rent a bike and visit other places next to Vernon. I will definately come back and visit Giverny, Bizy and so on.

We went to Vernon looking for a town to move to.
We went to Vernon looking for a town to move to. We also tried Pacy-sur-Eure and Gisors, both nearby. Gisors had a cooler main street, Pacy is too quiet and we bought a house in Vernon. 1:07 by train to Paris, excellent shopping in both shops and large stores and within 25 miles of Rouen where there's everything. About 45 minutes to Paris by car not in rush hour. It feels good, it's safe and it's relaxing. It took us about 75 minutes to drive to Le Havre and have lunch looking at the English Channel.
Also, it's located on the Seine, which is beautiful to look at.

Vernon is an interesting town with lots of shops and a huge weekly market. We enjoyed walks by the river. Vernon would be of particular interest to anyone interested in World War 11 - a very moving history.

Some interesting timber framed architecture.
Some interesting timber framed architecture. Sit in the sun , enjoy a beer and watch the weddings at hotel de Ville opposite the large church on Saturdays
Had a couple of good meals. Particularly enjoyed dinner at the Bistro Des Fleurs, book a table well in advance, the owner speaks English.
Very few places open for dinner on Sunday evening.
There is a small museum.
Walk by the Seine.
Not far from Monets house and garden at Giverny, pre book tickets online, then enter via the Group entrance, not the individual one.
We had the entire apartment inside the house for ourselves. The house was a very charming old house and was very beautifully decorated. The living room and bedroom were both clean and spacious. Huge and comfortable bed. Kitchen was fully equipped. Check in and check out was warm and easy. It was a few mins short drive to the old town centre of Vernon (which btw was unexpectedly charming and authentic despite being a small town, and we really loved it). There is sheltered parking space available in the front yard of the house.
The location for the property is wonderful! A short walk from train station and is in city center. Grocery store nearby and the kitchen has everything you need. The room setup is perfect. The host even set me up with a portable fan. The kitchen was stocked and I had everything I needed. I was able to walk to Claude Monet’s home in Giverny and then biked back to the town. There was even a music festival right outside the apartment while I was there- bonus!! The location was wonderful.
Anna met me as soon as I arrived to show me the apartment, as well as to give some tips on how to get around Vernon. She went above and beyond by booking me a taxi to and from an alternative train station to Vernon-Giverny (which would have otherwise been a short walk to/from her apartment) since there were no trains going from Paris on my travel dates due to a transport strike. Very easy to communicate with her. She was an excellent host!
lovely clean, comfortable 2 bedroom apartment. Both bedrooms open onto a spacious terrace overlooking the river Seine.Peaceful area yet close to town centre. Safe parking on street. Pascal was very helpful when we needed information about local restaurants.
Handy for the gardens at Giverny, you can walk in 30 minutes or there is a tourist train and a shuttle bus from Vernon.
Vernon is a very pleasant town, lots of medieval buildings.
The hotel was lovely, beautifully renovated and the rooms were very nice. The location is great — you can easily walk to sites, restaurants and the train station. The staff was outstanding, personable and very helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat 😊. We stayed seven nights in the Normandy region and this hotel was, by far, the best.
This property is ideally situated for the centre of Vernon; shops, bars, cafes etc and also for visiting the gardens at Giverny. It had two lovely bedrooms and a compact living/ dining room. Beds were quite comfortable and there were good facilities in the apartment. It had a great coffee machine. I loved listening to the church bells.
The apartment seems to have been remodeled not so long ago, it was very clean and it was spacious.
In the kitchen there were some supplies available, like tea and coffee.
There was a children's bed available as requested.
There are a lot of stores nearby in walking distance and parking the car in a free parking space was quite easy.
Great view on the Seine and beautifully furnished!
We really enjoyed staying in this appartement.
At the first day there was a problem with the hot water. Hiltrud payed for a night in the Normandy hotel to allow us to shower. she really felt sorry for us and did everything to offer a solution.
thank you!
Close to Vernon trains station;
It's a great place to spend a few days close to Vernon "city center".
The atmosphere is great, with such a beautiful garden and cats waiting for a pet !
Philippe was friendly and it was great to have breakfast in the garden area.
I would come back here if again in Vernon.
The room was spacious and attractive. The staff was very helpful and professional. Location, the best. We had dinner at the hotel one night: interesting choices. Recommend. There was a jazz trio playing which made is pleasant. The hotel has parking for a fee, worth every penny.
Comfortable, clean apartment. High up the apartment block, but this gave good views. Very well located for arrival by car, easy access to Vernon, short walk from supermarket and train station. Good to be able to park in the residents area of the building and not on the street.
This is a lovely modern apartment, only a short walk from Vernon town centre and right on the banks of the Seine. We really loved the views of the river. Thank you to Pascal for being so welcoming, we really appreciated your help and recommendations.
Spacious and spotless accommodation close to center of Vernon, rail station and bike rentals. Perfect base camp for exploring Giverny, Chateau de Bizy and surrounding area. Tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Nespresso machine.
Great central location and easy walk around Vernon. Short drive 4kms to Giverny and Monet's house and garden. Also within walking distance of Chateau Bizy. Offstreet parking available.
It's wonderful for a weekend visit, the host was very kind and it's in a great location near the central station. They also left me little gifts around the apartment, i loved it!
Gorgeous view! Close proximity to restaurants, bakeries and the sites of Vernon. 15 min by car to Giverny. Kitchen was well enough stocked for simple meals.
