Lacklustre. Didn't even clear a spot sit down for breakfast outside in the courtyard. Breakfast was OJ from a big carton and some pastries they'd knocked up. Whilst they seem convivial, their Booking.com description painted a picture of rural bliss and harmony. We weren't expecting HE Bates type existence but we expecting a little more than what was given. Maybe it was the end of the season....but now i'm making up excuses for them I think ? I slept wetland the rooms had a wonderful rustic charm in a house which was nestled in an ideal rustic french setting in a vineyard with horses. Very peaceful....but deffo lacking service and substance. If they'd said not breakfast but simply room only....I think I would have walked away more content ?!?
