Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, the restaurant was exceptional, the beds were simply clouds and the cherry on top was the breakfast. They attended every detail we asked for us and our baby and our dog.

The location was perfect. Within walking distance from the train station. I was there for the Jazz festival and it is very close to all of the venues. Overall the studio was clean and comfortable. I never saw the owners but getting the key was well explained and quite simple. I appreciated the autonomy.
Featuring river views, La Bâtie features accommodations with a terrace and a kettle, around 1.2 mi from Vienne Roman Theater.

The property is quite beautiful and very unexpected. The views are excellent, the apartment lovely. The host was gracious. A bit tricky to get to but close to everything, and you can take steps from property to town. Would highly recommend.
A really nice city just aside of the Rhone river. Historical monuments, an interesting historical museum and many good places to enjoy a good lunch. During the summer, you can enjoy music in a real Roman theater.

Vienne is a wonderful town. Not too big but much to see.
Vienne is a wonderful town. Not too big but much to see. Easy walking to the sites. For a small town person, it is easier to cope with than a big city. Interesting Roman sites, cathedral and museums but none overwhelming. Easy access in and out of town so driving is convenient.

All the museums and the Roman archaeological site were closed on the second and only full day of our stay. We especially enjoyed the wonderful view over the Rhone and the city from the believers. It was a steep climb, but worth it. It was a pity that almost all the restaurants had chosen to close in August, surely the peak time for visitors.

We had almost no time there at all, but we could see lots that needed exploring.
We were a little surprised that in the old town sections that we walked there were heaps of bars but few dedicated restaurants. Maybe we just missed the restaurant section.
There certainly weren't; the numbers out eating that we have seen in other French and Italian towns.
The river is impressive.
The ruined Chateau looks intriguing from down on the flat, but we've climbed to a lot of ruined Chateaux in the past couple of weeks and didn't feel inspired again.
It is a stunning hotel, with top class service at all stages: reception, room service, restaurant. Eating in the main restaurant is a great 'experience' ! But if you're looking for 'value' then the cost of a meal in the main restaurant was too high. however, we also particularly enjoyed the 'Bistro' where we ate on our 2nd evening: food value, service, selection and ambience were all excellent
IBIS offers cleanliness and efficiency. This must have been an older hotel converted to the IBIS chain since the rooms are large and don't have the cramped IBIS beds built into a corner. The location was good, The tourist bureau, restaurants, and monuments were are within walking distance.
Very friendly hostess with fantastic views over the valley of Vienne itself. Good breakfast provided and exclusive use of the pool if we wanted it. Nice fridge to use as well as beers to purchase as some distance from a shop if walking. fantastic views and chance to relax and chill

The hotel is cheap and value for money.
It is possible to walk safely to the centre of this very interesting and beautiful city from the hotel.
Parking is safe and easy
The breakfast is plentiful and there is lots of choice.
The very late booking went well, I was contacted by staff with detailed instructions. Very much appreciated. I liked the location of the hotel, looking onto a beautiful street, and the boulangerie is across the road.
Good hotel in town. Clean, comfortable and nice check in staff. Everything you want from a cheap one night stop. Parking is just opposite in a public pay car park, 8 Euros for the day but free over Christmas.
Wonderful hosts, very accomodating. The breakfast was wonderful, much better than you usually get in France. The property is a charming old house with a garden terrace, it also has an indoor heated pool.
Staff were superb. Helpful with directions, even allowed a couple of my documents to be printed off. Hotel is modern, clean, comfortable, no kettle in room but free coffee down in reception.
Very nice small hotel located in the centre of the lovely town of Vienne. The staff was super nice. We had the suite for the 4 of us which was quite big. Loved the decoration.
Easy check in/out. a stone throw away from the centre of town and Restaurant's. Free overnight parking just at the back of the hotel in a public parking lot.
