Villeferry is a remote little village and an ideal base for exploring the local area which has many interesting towns and villages. It is also a good stopover if travelling by car from the south east of France to Paris or the north.

We visited 10 years ago and decided to visit again en route to the Dordogne from visiting family in Germany. Our return did not disappoint - the hotel still had the same uniqueness I appreciated the first time and we had a wonderful 5 course dinner in their restaurant a short walk up the hill from the hotel.
