Very good breakfast, although I did feel a little rushed as it was filling up quite quick and the staff were running out of spaces.
But all good in general.

House Arundel is really central in the town but really quiet in the evening
My room was beautifully decorated and the bed incredibly comfortable. Lovely clean, contemporary bathroom with super plush towels.
Teas and coffee in the room with an honesty bar downstairs.
The owners are super-friendly and helpful too.
A wonderful stay!

We didn't visit Arundel itself on this occasion, as we were visiting family in the other direction. However, I have previously visited both the castle and cathedral, which I would strongly recommend.

Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes.
Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes. The best breakfast is at The Moathouse just across the bridge. You can walk along Mill Lane to visit Swanbourne Lake, which is free, or the Wildfowl & Wetlands centre. That is free for WWT members but well worth the entry fee if not. A bit further on is The Black Rabbit pub, where you can have a great meal by the river.

Arundel is a really quaint place with a good selection of small shops, pubs and eateries. Juniper's coffee shop & bakery is a must visit. The cinnamon buns are to die for. The Italian restaurant La Campania we highly recommend and the Norfolk Arms a great place to relax and chill. The local architecture and the walk along pass the museum and to the wet land centre really interesting & lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Arundel is a beautiful and very charming village with lots to see and do. A visit to the castle is a must as is a wandrr through the quaint shops in the main stteet (and off to the side). The food on offer in the restaurants was fabulous. We had dinner at The Swan The Parson's Table and the Black Rabbit.
Arundel is a great place to do a walk through the South Downs.
I loved the attention to detail that the staff made at the Swan Hotel. It made me feel really welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. The tea and coffee and complimentary chocolate and gin and tonic added a bit of luxury which brought a big smile to my face. The bed was comfortable and the toiletries in the bathroom was high quality and environmentally friendly and smelled great! The location was brilliant - right in the centre of Arundel and it was quiet at night which helped contribute to a great sleep.
Everything was wonderful, clean, very convenient for our needs, and great hotel staff hospitality. We did not have breakfast or dinner at the hotel, but there are enough places in Arundel to choose from for both. We enjoyed the good beer from the pub downstairs. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk from the train station, and the castle entrance is 5 minutes away down the hill. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel before check-in time, while we visited the castle.
Private, clean, perfectly appointed, no details left out. The space is great for two people. Having the kitchen was great, especially since the hosts stocked it with essentials. Plus having access to the beautiful flower garden is a great bonus. It is in a quaint little village with a very nice restaurant The George nearby. A visit to nearby Arundel (5 minute drive) to see the castle and visit the shops is a must.
Excellent little hotel in the perfect location to see and get around Arundel. Staff were all really friendly. Breakfast was great and cocktails were a great way to finish off an evening. The room was really comfy with the best view overlooking the castle and down Arundel High Street. Would really recommend staying here and look forward to another visit
Excellent location, great room with large comfy bed, on-site parking (reserve in advance). Lucie and Iain (the owners) were very friendly and cooked a great breakfast. Excellent value for money and more of hotel quality than a B&B, highly recommended and will certainly stay there again if going to Arundel.
The location is excellent. The Hotel is in the center of Arundel and this is a must. Everything was fine and the service very good. Although there's no a lift, because the age of the building, this isn't a problem. I highly recommend!!!!
room was good, clean and was serviced every day. staff friendly and very helpful. breakfast was good and they catered for gluten free fantastic. Beds ok used to a softer bed but still sleep well. will definitely use them again.
Perfect location, right on the high street with easy access to bars, restaurants and the castle. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very quiet. Staff were friendly and curteous. Breakfast was tasty! Loved the cosy bar area.
breakfast was excellent, good choice of cereals and juices,we had poached eggs and bacon over the three days, couldn't fault anything .The hotel was within walking distance of arundel ,and plenty of parking in town,
What a gem of a property. We couldn't have been more comfortable. The location was perfect with easy access to all the facilities in Arundel. The property was well maintained and had all the equipment required.
location good for my visit to Brighton, bonus was that the Arundel village was lovely!
slightly pricey for this type of hotel but guess it’s peak time.
clean and easy process after a long drive.
Situated close to Arundel the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds comfortable with a view over fields. Plenty of parking.
