Bedrooms were clean and tidy. We were the only 2 guests at the hotel that night so had our pick of rooms. Food was nice but we arrived at the tail end of sunday lunch service so choice was limited and there was no evening service. My colleague twisted her ankle prior to arriving and the staff were lovely, super helpful and made her an ice pack. Luca was a star, definitely employee of the month!!

    Easy location near M40 Watlington exit... Watlington turned out to be a charming small town with some excellent small and interesting shops, especially His for Kitchens... an amazing kitchen shop where I found so many things I wanted and at excellent prices.

    Staying at Aston Rowant with my husband, 21 yo and 13 yo was perfect. Gorgeous hotel, a walk in the Chilterns on your doorstep, Thame and Oxford a short distance away. Our rooms were spacious, beautifully furnished and quiet. We appreciated other areas off the bar in the hotel we could sit and have a drink with other family members staying at the hotel. Plentiful outside seating in a large sheltered courtyard, too. Breakfast and dinner to be recommended and the staff made the experience, all so professional friendly and helpful. Cannot imagine anyone not really enjoying a stay at this hotel.
