Rooms were very clean and tidy.
Staff were friendly.
Especially the guy who cooked breakfast.
On both mornings I asked for vegetarian sausages and he was glad to cook them.

My double room was large and very comfortable. I was greeted by the loveliest receptionist who arranged an early check in for me. Continental breakfast was included with the room (not an extra £10 as I had thought it would be). The hotel is in a nice area, minutes walk from the tube station and a large Sainsbury’s grocery shop.
The friendliness of the neighbourhood. The access to restaurants and cafes - there is such a variety of cuisines! The access to transport - easy access to greater London by car or train. Plus a big Sainsbury's on the High St.

My attraction to Barnet is Oak Hill College, where friends are studying for their degrees in Theology. Barnet itself has nice cafes and restaurants and is a relatively safe and quiet area with easy access to London and Heathrow.

Beautiful grounds and an attractive lodge for a quiet, peaceful visit, just off the M25. A great place to stay outside of London, with a direct tube line to South Kensington if you wish to visit the Natural History Museum, Science Museum or the Royal Albert Hall.

There is a main street within a short walk if you need to get any supplies; there seems to be a pretty good variety of eateries too, although we did not visit any on this visit. The tube is about 6-8 mins walk depending on your stride length....so all in all it is a good base to explore as well.

whilst on booking .com website it states free parking no reservation needed we received parking fine.we had registered car at check in.when we queried it with hotel they told us to send in photo evidence of the fine letter. so they can cancel it.we are waiting confirmation of this.the fact they have the ability to do this begs the question why say free parking then subject patrons to this upset
Comfy, clean with a helpful and friendly staff. While across London with an hour and a half journey, having Heathrow and Cockfosters on the Picadilly Underground (tube) line meant a no change trip from the airport. Brooklyn House is about a ten minute walk to the tube and then about a 30 minute trip into Central London. Further it is on the bus route to the station with the bus stop over the road. The Cockfosters village is about a ten minute walk providing the essentials with a great baker shop.
As first time travelers to London property was just impossible for us to find, not being familiar with public transit and addresses but with the help of a couple of very gracious shop owners that called a taxi for us we made our way. The Hotel was good but the bed was the most comfortable bed we both had ever slept in. We actually wanted to bring it home. The only negative was at the time we were there, which was early July, the elevator was not working. Other than that everything was great.
Although in the same grounds as the owner’s property, the cabin felt private and secluded. There was a lovely area of decking with table and chairs which we would have used had the weather been better. Inside, it is very comfortable with a good size bedroom and kitchen/sitting area. We find the area a perfect place to get into London - we walked to High Barnet underground station, around 20 minutes.
The accommodation was excellent. The owners were brilliant and very welcoming, they ensured we had everything we needed and more. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect - even helping us work out a route to a concert we had booked. All of the facilities were to a high standard, and we would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a trip to London.
Jasmine, our host, was beyond friendly, helpful and a great cook! She welcomed our family into her beautiful home and was very personable.
The location is within minutes from the tube station, on a major line, and streamlined our transportation into London and around town. The home is quaint, clean and we'll laid out. She definitely takes pride in her home and gorgeous grounds/garden.
The receptionist is simply amazing, 100 stars, always helpful and with a nice smile - the rest of the staff really friendly also. Absolutely good location, just 5 mins walking from a train station that takes you straight to London central area. Nice food, nice and clean room, everything was absolutely superb.
Free car park also, avoiding you from ULEZ Zone and Congestion Zone.
It was very clean and modern. It was exactly as shown in the photos on the booking. Coffee machine with a good supply and variety of coffee pods. Powerful shower. Even though its on a High Street it is really quiet. Comfortable bed. Good Internet.
Short walk from the tube.
This flat had everything I needed. I will definitely be booking again next time I stay in London.
This Guest house is a little gem. Just outside London but very close to the tube station. Usha the owner was very kind and helpful. Gave us lots of advise where to go with the children. The beds and pillows were so comfy. We had a tv and coffee making facilities, plenty of towels and free parking availability. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going again.
I liked the accommodation and the staff, The location for us was excellent as it was near my son's flat. The room (room 2) was bigger than I thought it would be, it was en suite and very clean. I thought it was really good value in comparison to other hotels in the area. the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our 2 night stay
Ideal location for pubs, restaurants, cinema and main high street. Tube station & bus stops nearby but also free parking available. Room & ensuite were spacious & it was a very comfortable bed. Would re book if needed accommodation in same area again. Staff were polite & helpful too.
location - easy to park and lovely grounds.
we meet family in the outside area and invited them for lunch which was great.
The one thing is outside you are not allowed animals and my daughter missed out. Not sure why not pet friendly outside
The grounds in which the hotel is situated are amazing especially so close to London. The trees are amazing and it felt like an aristocratic space it was so big and huge. Love the roaring fire at the entrance also with the big Xmas tree.
Jasmine was a super great hostess. The room was perfect and we found it exactly as described in the pictures. We had a 4 day stay in London. Arnos Grove tube station was about 7 mins away.
I highly recommend this accommodation!
The hotel is located quite close to London - but not convenient for tube access. You need a car to drive the 30 mins to the closest tub station. The staff are great.
Staff were fantastic! Thank you Paul and Anna for making me feel at home. The hotel is very close to the underground train station and resturants/shops.
