Good size bathroom, sleeping area and well organized eating place. The cottage was clean and quiet modern. Nice location. They accept dogs, but place do not have a safe place to go for walk with dog, very close to busy road.

Room and bed very comfortable
Location for airport excellent.
The spacious Redhill House BRS Airport Bristol Airport offers luxury facilities in North Somerset countryside, minutes from Bristol International Airport.
Great venue if attending a function at the Lodge. Good place but needs some attention to detail. Bathroom, shelves needed and general upgrade. Self catered there, a few more kitchen utensils would help. Very narrow roads and heavy traffic at times.
We appreciated the Mendips and surrounding countryside.

Only stayed one night as we were going to Bristol that evening for a family meal. Seems a very quiet out of the way place in a countryside setting. When we were there a group of about 6 walkers were staying so there must be good walking in the area; Cheddar Gorge is not too far away by car.

Blagdon is a nice quiet village.
Blagdon is a nice quiet village. Friendly people and uniquely placed for a UK trip. We had just travelled from Havant to take in the Wooky Hole and a drive through the Chedder Gorge prior to our stay. The Plume Of Feather was most welcoming with excellent food and friendly staff. Pets are allowed within the confines but not sure about an overnight stay. The only downside for us was the steepness of the steps to the landing on the 1st floor, but this is a minor quip because the stay, location and people make the location a must visit and we would certainly not hesitate to use or suggest the Plume Of Feathers to anyone looking for a restful stay in the confines of a rural village

Great stay comfortable place.
Great stay comfortable place. Busy road outside can be a bit hazardous to cross to get to park but a gorgeous view and lovely area. With the difficulties of covid restrictions the hotel deals well with these and the service continues with these in place that includes friendly service and staff. The room does experience noise from the bar below either the noise of customers or the clearing of furniture after hours. But if prepared for this it can be excused. Noise from other rooms also can be disturbing if you need a lie in!?

Village has a shop, route around reservoir is good.
Village has a shop, route around reservoir is good. Saw herons, ducks and much other wildlife. Good base for Cheddar, Wells, Bath/Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare and Glastonbury/Street. The Plume of Feathers was very personable and changed menu daily to reflect local availability.

Blagdon is in a beautiful area with wonderful countryside and a large lake and 2 pubs open 12~2 and 6~10 with a nice selection of lunches and evening meals great if you are on a walking or camping trip though not good for the disabled with its high hills ok for a nights stop over but personally not for myself or my disabled wife.
We loved our stay; the location, tranquility, the accommodation was excellent. Regarding the Seymour Arms staff, they were exemplary. This was extended from Mark Murray the manager, through to every member of the staff that gave us a fantastic service( we came with our little jack Russell and they treated us like royalty). The food was excellent( we had breakfast and evening meals). We cannot speak highly enough of this establishment, so much so we have booked again.( Ssshh, don't want to say it too loud, everyone will be coming here!!).
Lovely pub in a great location on the north of the Mendips. Staff all friendly, and breakfast and evening meals we had in the pub were great. Room tidy, large and comfortable Would happily visit again. Landlord gave us the recommendation to visit Wilkins Cider Farm , which turned out to be the highlight of our tour of Somerset! Good walking from the doorstep, and easy reach to the local reservoirs / lakes and also Bath was only just over half an hour away.
Really friendly welcome and stay. Excellent choice for breakfast using local produce (even strawberries grown in the garden!) Knowledgeable hosts who recommended things to do locally. Room was superbly clean and had everything we needed - tea/coffee, biscuits, bottles of water, hairdryer etc - we also watched the local cricket game from our bedroom window! Super local pub with outstanding views over the lake. We would highly recommend a stay at School Farm.
We loved everything about Brinsley Barn. The location was amazing. So peaceful. We were perfectly situated for exploring Bristol and other areas around Somerset. The accomodation was fantastic. Spotlessly clean and so comfortable and cosy. We didn't want to leave to return to the noise and bustle of town life. We will definitely stay here again. Thankyou so much George and Meg for a wonderful stay.
Good communication meant obtaining key and finding the accomodation was easy. Very quiet rural location but excellent for being central for visiting Bristol Bath Wells Tewkesbury and Glastonbury etc. Very clean and comfortable throughout. Local roads are extremely rural and narrow and not for the feint hearted or nervous inexperienced driver.
Lovely historic pub less than ten minutes from Bristol airport. Friendly owners (the landlord, Dave cooks a brilliant full English and was fun to chat with), cozy bar and good food. Comfortable room too. 10/10 highly recommend and would stay again.
I was traveling to fish nearby Blagdon Lake , so location was my main consideration. The hotel was in a very quiet and attractive location and I would choose it again if fishing Blagdon in future. Excellent cider and Perry on draft.
This is the cutest hotel in the cutest town I’ve ever been in. The staff was exceptional. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing! Room was bigger than I expected, and the bed was very comfortable.
Lovely big rooms stylishly decorated. Clean property, dog friendly with easy to access walks. Close to Bristol, Bath and the beautiful Chew Valley. Excellent breakfast.
