I couldn’t fault the staff at this venue. I was staying by for work and arrived late after work. They managed to get me a table, without hesitation, for some food even though it was the Saturday before Christmas. They were super attentive, the food was insane and I couldn’t fault the service. They even made me the most perfect breakfast bag to take away.

this is a great hotel, I have stayed here many times, the food is great and the staff are excellent
In the heart of Scotland and 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Perth, this hotel is conveniently located for the railway and bus stations. Wi-Fi is available throughout and it is free of charge.
The location is good to get away from towns/cities.
The location is good to get away from towns/cities. It suited us, as close to family we were visiting. It was very relaxing in the hotel. The only slight issue was the danger of the road crossing from car park, as traffic is deceivingly fast there.

We stayed 1 night for Hogmanay. The hotel staff were great.
We stayed 1 night for Hogmanay. The hotel staff were great. Very attentive and saw we had everything we needed. The food was really good for a small hotel and given the number of people at the Hogmanay dinner, quality excellent. Quick, efficient service with a smile. Breakfast was fresh and good quality. Portions at meals were generous and options suited us perfectly. My only wish was that the decor in the bedrooms could be brighter. Fresher. The cleanliness was excellent/faultless. The decor was just dated. However everyone’s taste is different.

Great location. Extremely comfortable, immaculately clean.
Great location. Extremely comfortable, immaculately clean. Generous complementary tray, delicious biscuits, chocolate and fruit. Enormous breakfast. Cannot fault it. Heather and Ric very welcoming and Eliza charming. Will return as there are many quiet cycling roads to explore.
The hotel is in a charming location with a stream across the road an woods. My wife and I were in the main building and the room was clean and comfortable and large. Her Mother was in the modern annexe and the corridor to this was cold but the room OK.
The breakfast was excellent with a good choice and fast service even on Sunday when the hotel was more full. We ate in the restaurant once and the food was very good.
The staff were chatty, helpful and friendly.
Peaceful and beautiful location , lots of wildlife around, lovely hosts, we had everything we needed. Glenfarg Reservoir very close and quiet nearby. Loved the outdoor bbq and playing the board games and cards provided at night. Good to be off the grid without WiFi but glad I brought my cd player for a bit of music. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone wanting a quiet peaceful break with beautiful scenery.
Peace and quiet was what we wanted and that is EXACTLY what we got. The setting is amazing. If you want all mod cons with people running after you go to a hotel but if you want STUNNING views and tranquility then this is the place to stay. We only stayed 48 hours but left feeling relaxed and recharged.
I am writing this while still at the hotel. I love this place. My room is gorgeous. Spotlessly clean with a huge bath and massive bed. The staff here are lovely. We had a meal and drink in the restaurant which was so tasty and not overly expensive. All the furnishings are high quality and tasteful.
Loved this cosy, friendly hotel. Staff were so lovely. Rooms fresh and clean with everything you needed. Food was absolutely amazing. Booked dinner both nights and best food I've eaten for a long while and can tell all fresh produce. Gem of a hotel snd felt right at home, will definitely be back :)
Clean nice room, clean bath, good large bad. Sofa, table and two chairs. Large TV. Good food in restaurant directly in hotel. Meal on the table in ten minutes. Eco heating by wooden mass. Heating on at the end of May! Hot water, everything fine. I was so tired, I did not need to much more.
Breakfasts were simply delicious whether opting for full or smaller portions. Dinner menu choices were great and the meals we ordered were very tasty. The hotel was particularly popular with visiting guests for dinner and drinks and so there was a great atmosphere around the place.
The hotel was set in a beautiful place “the staff where very helpful “the room was more than I expected “the breakfast was 10/10 the place was clean and very pleasant “I would stay again and if. Your not in a car there is a bus stop outside fir getting around “
All in all a nice place to say,
The staff were very friendly
The hotel was under new ownership, and they were still finding their feet, but we had a good weekend.
Nice location for a stopover on the way from the midlands to the far North West coast of Scotland. Always like to pick places with a bit of character to them.
