The hosts were welcoming and the food was amazing! Everything was home cooked and baked, of the area and in season. Fabulous. The hiking trails leaving from the hotel were great and the train station very close. Loch Shiel is so beautiful. Staying here allows you to see the viaduct and loch when there are few tourists.

The management and staff were exceptional. They were always helpful (going the extra mile), and greeted every day with a smile. The breakfast room and dining room were really nice, and the food in the dining room was very good. Service was excellent, quick, polite and entered into light banter very well. The outlook over the loch from both rooms was fantastic. Car parking was easy and the overall location was perfect for exploring Glencoe and the Western Highlands

The rooms are exceptionally small but this is thematically appropriate. After all, they are similar to cells! The bed was great and everything seemed clean enough. The rooms, due to the limited space do not have kettles inside but they offer free of charge use of a machine in the kitchen/bar area that can make much more than simply hot water.
