Stay in Old Glossop vs Glossop proper. The whole area, however, very scenic. manor Park nice for a walk, especially on a hot day. Pub is in Old Glossop, 10 - 15 mins. walk from Glossop town centre. Old Glossop very quaint in an interesting way. Two other pubs and a lovely park 2 mins. walk from the Queens. Country walks also right on doorstep. Glossop itself a pleasant town with all the amenities one could reasonably require available. Lovely little town great central location for visiting other areas, great selection of pubs and restaurants, parking is a bit of an issue for overnights but if you ask the locals they are very friendly and helpful

Alan and Carole are just so accommodating and friendly and really do go out of thier way to make it a lovely stay . The location is excellent and as someone who stays in alot of hotels and air bnbs, this is honestly the cleanest place I've ever stayed.
