Staff very helpful and friendly especially Vicki on the bar who went above and beyond to help, arranging deliveries for us and generally being very attentive and helpful.

The room was over priced at £125 but that said there was no water or biscuits in the room. I’ve stayed here numerous times with cheaper rates when I have had water and coffee

We were there for a funeral.
We were there for a funeral. We stayed at the Pug and Greyhound and could walk to the crematorium, and both my friends' houses. The Cafe we used for breakfast - Lou Lou's was excellent. We asked to stay another night but hotel fully booked. But kind Amy found a nearby B&B for a similar price and booked it for us. Fantastic. It was easy to get around Great Glen with the Co-op 5 minutes walk away. The location of the accomodation in the village was great, walkable to the other pub/restaurant. Due to unforseen circumstances the pub itself, The Pug and Greyhound was closed and we were warned about this prior to our stay., with the option to cancel if we wished. We eat at The Yews in the village which was good value for money with excellent staff. The garden area of the pub was great for outdoor dining, pity they had to close. Away from the hustle and bustle of loads of people, as it’s in the village of Great Glen. I stayed in a room outside, in an old outbuilding. The room was very stylish, with vintage features. Spotlessly clean. A large screTV, which you hardly ever get, so I was chuffed. And it even had a small fridge, which was a smeg! Bed was fine with lovely sheets. We ate breakfast in the pub the morning after we stayed and it was very nice, with some decent veggie options. We were in the area for a wedding so just needed a one-night bolthole really, but the village was very pretty even with the limited amount we saw of it. The room was a good size, comfortable and well dog-proofed! We went on one of the recommended circular walks, which was great. Great Glen is a lovely village and the pub is in a good location to reach local amenities. The pub had a really nice friendly and warm atmosphere and the food was delicious.
