The Esplanade Hotel, hotel in Hackness

Located above the cliffs overlooking Scarborough and the south bay, The Esplanade Hotel offers limited free on-site parking, a garden and a restaurant with views over the harbour and Scarborough...

The room was so dated it was like time travel back to the 1970s! Initially quite amusing and was a bit of nostalgic!

The Crescent Hotel, hotel in Hackness

The Crescent Hotel is a Grade II listed building, situated in the centre of Scarborough and 10 minutes’ walk from South Bay Beach. The hotel overlooks the pleasant Crescent Gardens.

Room was spacious and light (Belvoir Room). Breakfast was good and served hot. Staff friendliness but appeared a little overstretched at times but it was just after Easter so probably normally a lull in guests.

Hackness is the perfect place if you want peace and quiet...

Hackness is the perfect place if you want peace and quiet and to be able to walk miles from right outside your door. Do not expect a shop or pub as you will be disappointed - it's the perfect location to get away from everything!
