The beer was excellent, so nice to get back from a long day, sit in the bar which had a very welcoming atmosphere and not have to drive anywhere. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, we ate there twice. Gino's breakfasts were very good, especially the black pudding. Comfortable rooms and the village was in easy travelling distance to all the places we wanted to see.

Hereford is a stunning county to visit.
Hereford is a stunning county to visit. Amazing cathedral and city to visit, pedestrians only in city. Lots of cafes and places to eat. River Wye is stunning and Symmonds Yat worth a visit. Maybe you will see a Peregrin Falcon there. Lots to do. The local theatre The Courtyard always has something on. There is a fabulous Cinema as well.

So much history and wonderful, old buildings in quite a small, easily walkable area. The Black and White House and the Catholic church, were particularly interesting. The Mappa Mundi and Cathedral are obviously worth a visit.
The lack of cars in some streets was great. Far more relaxing without them.
Good choice of eateries (e.g. Ponte Vecchio, The Bookshop, All Saints cafe).
The outdoor market stalls were a delight but the indoor market needs a upgrade. Lots of potential.
There is also a nearby walk in the countryside along the river bank, via Victoria Bridge then back along the other side to the west.

Hereford is a pretty town, we went for the Cathedral and Map a Mundi. I think it would suit people who like to go for a bit of a shop and the town centre looked nice when we were walking through, little lanes, little cafes, little independent shops as well as some of the majors.
I enjoyed the Cathedral and the Black & White House Museum, the latter would also be good for children.
Close to lovely countryside and striking distance from Hay On Wye and other pretty towns to visit so a good hub place to be based.

I work in Hereford and was staying overnight because of an evening engagement with a late finish and I didn't want to drive home very late. I think Hereford is a great place to visit, especially now the electric Zipper buses have been introduced.

Wonderful city , full of history and character.
Wonderful city , full of history and character. Much more like a large market town , with many interesting and unique shops , not like most cities. Also just minutes away from the country side . The Court Yard theatre is a definite must , great food to the in-house restaurant. Helpful and friendly staff and the show was very good value for money .
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the woman who owns the b&b, who was friendly and informative.
The room was very cosy and comfortable, with a nice sized bathroom.
In the morning we had a lovely full English breakfast cooked for us, although there were lots of other alternatives if you preferred to have something else.
Our favourite thing about the b&b was the location which was perfect - only a 5/10 minute walk into the town centre!
We'd happily stay here again when visiting Hereford in future.
Great room, spacious and very clean. Our room even had a little veranda, which was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen was a great addition! Kettle, microwave, oven etc and it meant we could save money by cooking our own breakfast. The hob is an induction hob. The kitchen was also very clean. The hotel was in a great location. We were in Hereford for a wedding, which was in the city centre and we were able to walk there in 10 minutes.
Breakfast excellent Location ok..about 15 minutes walk into centre of Hereford...not the loveliest walk but ok.I was lucky to be in a room at the rear looking onto the garden and therefore very quiet ,in the front there is a busy road. The owner was very nice ,friendly and helpful. They produced an alternative to a duvet for me..I get too warm and dislike duvets,so good for them as hotels often can’t do this or don’t want to bother.
We had a very good stay at Charades. It is a beautiful home that is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The proximity to the city makes it a wonderful location from which to explore Hereford. Breakfast was very good. The owners were extremely professional, paying great attention to detail and they were very friendly. If we are ever in the area again we will be back!
Thank you very much.
the room was near the lift and the staff were very very helpful getting my bags from the car and taken them to my room that I'd been allocated. They then found there were eight steps to my room despite the fact I had said I needed a lift and accessible bathroom and they kindly researched a different room for me
I had a lovely meal in wonderful surroundings. The decor of the hotel is superb
Everything else, easy to find, sat nav took us straight there, plenty of parking. The accomodation was spotless, free tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, lovely quiet location with great walks across the fields. Easy access to Hereford and surrounding area to explore, we went to Sumonds Yat, Ross-on-wye, Hay-on-wye and the Forest of Dean all easy to get to by car.
Wonderful location in centre of Hereford. This self catering apartment was full of character. Warm with a comfortable lounging and kitchen area. Quiet despite it's city position and great shower. Very well appointed with everything you need for cooking and dining.Washing machine and good connectivity for wi-fi, including access to major online tv services.
Decent but no frills double room, clean, comfy bed, felt safe (key pad on front door to come and go), private off road parking. Close enough to Hereford town centre to walk. Note there's no breakfast options at the moment. We ate dinner at The Burger Shop, it was the best burger I have had in a long time. Access to the garden at the back.
i booked this hotel when attending motocross meeting. I was impressed with this hotel and the staff. The location was ideal, very close to a Tesco, McDonald’s and other convenience stores and only 10 minutes away from where we needed to get too. Good value for money and will book again if we return to Hereford.
Honestly one of the best hotels to stay in. Travel alone for work and feel safe, get a great nights sleep and a warm welcome. Breakfast is fantastic. Love the little touches such as a teapot in the room. Cannot fault this place and will always stay here if I'm in Hereford. Really is homely and comfortable.
It was a unique beautiful hotel. Very quiet location but only a short distance from Hereford.
The room was stunning. Huge and had nice little touches like proper sized mugs and a coffee machine.
The staff were super friendly and very accommodating especially as I was a little early to check in.
It is very convenient for Hereford city centre with plenty of off road parking, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Really good breakfast . Although it is next to a very busy road my room was at the rear and I could hear no traffic noise at all
Lovely hotel in the middle of Hereford. Helpful and friendly staff, cosy room, breakfast excellent. Nice dry place to store our bikes and very convenient for the cathedral
Breakfast was outstanding, fresh good quality, and tasty. Location was good, a reasonable walk from the town centre, and far enough away to ensure a peaceful.night.
Greated by friendly helpful staff, hotel is nice and a bit quirky in a good way. Hotel parking is free, and the centre of Hereford is only a short 2 minute walk away
