The property was quietly located on edge of Holne with views across the valley. The host greeted us on arrival and was most helpful. The accommodation was beautifully furnished and well equipped. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and in good order. Would certainly recommend Walkers Retreat which is conveniently located for exploring Devon and Dartmoor in particular. We liked the building.... those ancient places!! The personnel was very kind and accomodating especially with the food for our child.
