Staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Spa facilities and pool were fantastic. Slightly pricey in the restaurant and bar but you get what you pay for.alisonSouth Africa - 10Scored 10

The staff were very attentive and helpful.
The staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel had a very older world ambience and was very relaxing the piano player in the evening was very entertaining. The only complaint was the price of the wine was vastly over priced in the dinning room and brasserie. But the bar prices where reasonable. The spa was a welcoming retreat.

Great hotel, in lovely location. Ferry to Bowness-on-Windermere ideal. Had dinner in restaurant, very good. Breakfast disappointing, waited very long time for cooked food to come out and when it did it was cold!AlisonUnited Kingdom
