If there is no air conditioning in the room, there should be fans available for ALL rooms in the event of hot weather. Room was unbearably hot. Sleep was scarce as a result. The rest of the stay was very good.

The location provided easy access to some of the sacred sites around the area, we drove to the Uffingham horse then walked to Wayland Smithy, before driving back south to Avebury and then home. The hotel was clean well cared for and the cost was incredibly cheaper than we expected. Thank you

Restaurant for breakfast etc next door. Will definitely use this hotel again. Very convenient for M4. Would recommend getting instructions for getting to the hotel in advance if travelling eastbound on M4 as the hotel is on the westbound side of M4 - not a problem, it's very easy when you know how! Use the same route to cross back over to continue travelling eastbound.

There was a trouser press that's probably not been used since 1993 but I slept better knowing it was there. There were spare towels, spare pillows, a hairdryer and windows you could actually open - and best of all, a bath! The staff were so nice and friendly too. The room and the bathroom were of good quality, clean and spacious, featuring all I needed including an electric kettle (and free coffee, tea bags, and little milk 'pots") and even a hairdryer. The mattress was VERY comfortable. I had a good rest in that hotel thus I can recommend it to others.
