It's a small town on the upper Thames with an 18th-century bridge. Buscot Park (National Trust) is less than three miles away, and Kelmscott (once the home of William Morris) not much further. His friend Burne-Jones's pre-Raphaelite stained glass can be seen in Buscot church.

A lovely place to stay right on the banks of the river Thames. The room was clean and comfortable with the best tea and coffee making facilities I've ever seen. If I could offer some advice it would be to upgrade the lighting in the room as it did feel a little dark.Very happy with my stay thank you.

A lovely Cotswold town with plenty of small shops including a very well stocked licensed health food store. A selection of eateries including high quality pub grub, super Indian and fish & chip shop. Good river walk along the upper reaches of the Thames.
Staff and service was excellent. We got a flat tire one night and they were able to assist us with booking AA the next morning. The property was gorgeous and tucked away in a quiet town. The room was spacious, warm, and clean. We were able to drive to our room to drop off/pick up our heavy luggage. Breakfast was delicious and they served generous portions. We enjoyed our walk around the property and the garden tour.
All the meals we took at the hotel, breakfast and dinner, were very good quality and the restuarant was comfortable with a good selection available. Meals were served promptly and hot. The room was in a row of rooms leading to the carpark at the rear of the hotel and looked like they may have been a conversion from some form of stables many years ago. They were comfortable without being exceptional.
the food was delicious, the breakfast especially was superb.
the morning staff were very friendly and helpful. a dark haired girl on the evening who I think
may have been kitchen staff was absolutely lovely.
dog friendly, with lots of walks in the local area.
the general cleanliness was excellent, and the cleaning lady was also lovely.
There was no breakfast available and no meals. Although we were happy finding these elsewhere it was strange that they were described as being available on website. Our room was nice clean and comfortAble and the hotel lovely. Had feeling of having fallen on hard times and not being managed properly. Seemed to be a Skelton staff
The village of Langford is almost unnaturally picturesque and the Bell Inn is similarly characterful; almost the Platonic ideal of a Home Counties pub. The food was great, particularly the breakfast which, unusually, felt like had been prepared with the same attention to detail as the evening meal.
Perfectly located and well equipped accommodation. Very clean and tidy, We used it for a small family reunion and there was plenty to do in the area and it was not far to travel to either Lechlade or Burford, both very attractive towns. We'll definitely recommend it to friends.
The house is in a good location to access the lovely town of Lechlade and other attractions such as the wildlife park. The rooms are good sizes, the back room is nice and the shower is really powerful. The litlle bottles of shampoo etc and the hamper were a nice bonus.
We only had breakfast on the morning we left. The vegetarian breakfast was very nice. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and cosy. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and hotel was very central. Liked sitting by the river
Good place to stay for visiting the Cotswolds.
Nice old hotel with a good 500 year old feel to it in a lovely little town.
Good parking if you are lucky enough to get a park(would depend how busy the pub is with non guests I'd think)
Great breakfast.
Location in middle of Lechlade good. Good choice of local eateries. Room spacious and beds as described. Tea & coffee etc ample. Plenty of hot water for showers and good big bath towels and plenty of shower gel, shampoo etc. Room clean.
breakfast was amazing! Staff especially Nicki & ? (name escapes me, she tried hard to connect our car up to charge the battery) were very helpful & hospitable, couldn't have asked for better service!
Friendly, welcoming staff, fantastic, spacious period room, very comfy bed, good bathroom. No breakfast or evening meals available at property, both available nearby.
