ample of carparking space in their own car park, checking was pleasant the receptionist was very helpful on both check-in and check-out the room i stayed in was very modern and clean, restaurant food was excellent and the breakfast options were also plentiful and of good quality.

Really good value for money and lovely food. Breakfast was excellent! Some parts of the hotel were in need of a fresh lick of paint but considering it’s an old building it was very well kept. Our room was very clean however the carpet on the stairways were in need of a Hoover but there was some work going on in one of the rooms which may have been why. All food, the breakfasts and the dinner we had were cooked to perfection. The dinner was very good value. That the hotel serves lunches to seniors was obviously a very welcome gesture to locals. The bar was filled on both days of our stay. The room we stayed in was large and had a tv over the bath. Dog friendly in an area of Scotland with numerous walks right from the door.

The location was perfect, especially if you have a dog, ane the hotel is pet friendly so ideal if can't be parted from your furry friend. The food was amazing, absolutely delicious and it does take out if just fancy a quiet night in your room. It's a very friendly relaxing hotel and the staff can't do enough for you . And the price for food and beverages won't spoil your stay. Very reasonable.

It is perfectly situated at the foot of the Campsie Hills with easy access to visit many places in the Highlands, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Very helpful staff and good food to start the day.
