We stayed in Nov. It was very peaceful. Scenic views across the beach and bay out to sea. The castle was closed , but the old church was open and we were given tour around it. We didn't need the car park (staying at the B&B) , but it is quite large and had very clean free toilets. A small place with it's own beach , church , castle and pub. +++++

Manorbier is a pretty little village with a nice beach and coastal walks, however whilst we were there the interesting looking Norman church and Manorbier castle were both closed to visitors even though there were notices saying that they were open all day. The holiday was in late September but with the amount of visitors still there it was very disappointing that these places were closed. We would also have given a much higher rating to the hotel but we had booked it specifically so that we could eat in the restaurant in the evening only to find when we got there that they no longer did meals on a Sunday and Monday due to staffing problems but we did eat there and had a very nice meal on the Tuesday evening. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and we would book this hotel again when the problems of Covid are over.

A lovely place to stay or visit.
A lovely place to stay or visit. Although a quiet place there are some good facilities. Lovely beach cafe and also a good pub that we have eaten in twice. The fish and chips were excellent. There is the castle to visit also an old Norman church.

easy walk to the local beach.
easy walk to the local beach. Didn't have time to explore the local coastal walks in either direction but that was mainly due to the wet weather so we took a trip to Colby Woods nearby. The castle was open but we missed that too as it had closed by the time we arrived for check in.
Lovely spacious apartment, spotlessly clean. The staff at the pub were really welcoming and we enjoyed staying in the pub gardens. They have a couple of rooms for guests and really looked after us with booking a table to eat. Right in the centre of Manorbier with a lovely walk to the beach and castle. We found parking on the road and the small carpark owned by the pub opposite. Busy but always found a spot. There was music on Friday night which was great for us and no walk home!
Great location if you want somewhere a bit off the beaten track (Been to Manorbier before so I knew what to expect). Lovely pub with decent food if a bit busy at times. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Some peoples reviews mentioned that parking was impossible. It's not easy but just bear in mind that it is a very small village and once the day trippers to see the castle have all gone home in the evening we had no trouble finding a parking space close to the Castle Inn.
Excellent location with views of the sea and the old church , with the castle just across the road. Lovely room with large king bed and sea view. Plenty of choice for breakfast plus a well-stocked buffet. Had a meal in the restaurant on one evening. This was very good and the restaurant/breakfast room was really nice with views out to sea. On the other evenings we used the local pub which was a couple of minutes walk and had a good selection of food.
What a lovely hotel. Booked to stay whilst walking the coastpath and it was a real treat. A very comfortable, quiet room and well equipped bathroom. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent. I dined in the evening. Menu had plenty of choice and all perfectly cooked. Breakfast again was great - the best homemade granola I have ever had and plenty of cooked choices. I will return and highly recommend.
An extremely comfortable, clean and well arranged room. The hostess was super courteous. Even though we arrived late, she was very kind to ask if we needed dinner as the kitchen was closing. The breakfast was fantastic. I am glad I did not choose Penally Abbey as this Lodge was FAAAR better than it. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY OVER ANY OTHER IN TENBY AREA.
The location was great. Short walk to beach, castle, pub. Shame the cafe wasn't open, but it was due to open at some stage. Pub menu was really impressive.
The host was very friendly and accommodating. Accommodation clean. Welcome milk and welsh cakes which was lovely.
Close to Tenby and other attractions, such as several other castles.
Castelemead was an excellent venue to explore the area - on foot, by car or by train. The room was excellent and the fridge an added bonus. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful, evening meals when available were very good.. Manorbier is very interesting village and the village Pub does excellent pizzas.
The Manorbier Castle Inn was ideally located for my needs. I was at a wedding at the castle and this accomodation was in very easy walking distance to the castle, church and beach. The staff were very friendly, the pub and accomodation had a nice intimacy to it and the standard and cleanliness were lovely.
Beautiful location for this great hotel. Delicious food and welcoming staff.
Allocated parking right near the room.
Delightful well-designed room; light and airy with plenty of space, comfortable bed, windows that open. A secluded outside seating area to enjoy a cup of tea after a busy day of exploring.
Comfortable homely property, very clean and plenty of space for a family of 4. Very glad to have a driveway and garden that is enclosed for a dog. Master bedroom bed mattress extremely comfy! Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Really enjoyed Manorbier beach 10 minutes away!
Was a very last minute booking and was made easy on arrival. Lovely room and stunning location.
Easy walk down to the sea and the bonus of Manorbier Castle.
Us and our dog made to feel very welcome, staff
Lovely. Would definitely go back to the area and the place
Lovely and spacious Apartment. Private garden, great shower. Situated near Manorbier, easy to get to the Pembrok Coastal path and in walking distance to Manorbier. Very friendly and helpful host. Will definitely book this place again when we are near Tenby
Quirky little place with everything you could possibly need. ideally located with a bus stop just up the road so you could get about really easy. A short walk into Manorbier where there’s a lovely little pub and the beach where the dog could run about.
- lovely staff
- spacious room with big bed and many pillows
- bathroom with bathtub
- great location right next to the castle
- breakfast was good (especially the tiny croissants)
- yummy chips!
- amazing garlic mushroom sauce!
Lady at premises was amazing. Friendly and couldn't do enough. Wonderful bed and very clean. Location probably the best in South Wales for beauty. Would recommend and on list of places to revisit with family.
Self catering. Village of Manorbier is very pleasant with a great location for beach and walks. Facilities in village good and some great places to eat fairly locally. Need to book.
