This is a lovely bungalow in a quiet area with everything you would need. Paul is a great host as he greeted us on arrival and sent us clear instructions on how to get to the bungalow and even clearer instructions on how to use the appliances. The icing on the cake was that we were welcomed with a slice of homemade cake which was a lovely surprise after such a long journey from London. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Devon

Prior to our stay we sent over some enquiries and received very prompt and friendly replies with helpful information (follow Ray & Anne's advice about satnav directions).
The cottage is set in a tranquil location, easy to find, with parking on site. We were greeted by Ray who showed us where we would have breakfast the following day, and then to our room which overlooked woodland from the side window and the wooded bank and treehouses to the rear, with bird feeder hung over the Juliet balcony.
We were going out again to meet family, and were given the front door key for access later that evening.
The room was comfortable, clean, and peaceful, with great facilities including a kettle, large mugs, cafetiere and fresh coffee, plus instant coffee, a variety of tea, and biscuits, plus fresh milk in the fridge on the landing. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, though the bed was a little creaky : /
In the cosy breakfast room there was a lovely woodburner. Ray provided a superb breakfast, absolutely delicious, with more than we could eat which set us up for the day ahead.
We would highly recommend Kingsley Cottage, a wonderful place to stay.

Hosts Monique and Kit went out of their way to make us most welcome and changed our room to a ground floor apartment when they noticed my mobility issues.
The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The food was also excellent. We will definitely return!

Milton Damerel is a quiet country village, so dont expect much more. However, the option to visit lots of other places does mean as long as you have transport you can easily get to lots of other places such as Bideford, Westward Ho, Bude, Ifracombe etc.

Great for a short trip away from it all with saunas jacuzzi and swimming pool all free to use. Also a gym and squash court if you want something more energetic. Food was good but limited, careful if you have certain requirements. Room was warm with temperature adjustment if needed.
Milton Damerell is on a hill, just up from Wherebridge and about 5 miles from Wunorsetown. Don't expect anything remotely interesting within a 15 mile radius. Either its a day in the pool and amenities or its a 30 minute trip in a car to something approaching civilisation.
As long as you know this then you can have a great time here.

Forget fancy coffee filter packs without the equipment to use them just have packets of instant coffee, frustrating. Offer breakfast, it may not be customary in America, but it is in England, at least where it is expected make it very clear it is not available at all, so your customers can make an informed choice.
Pity stayed here 3 years ago with my wife, had a very pleasant stay, would not stay again
I have never been asked to pay a damage deposit before, not good again make clear at booking.
