Chalk Farm Hotel was comfortable and very convenient for walking on the South Downs. My room was very large with good quality tea, coffee and biscuits as well as a complimentary bottle of spring water.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was very good. The place has a lot of character and has an interesting George Orwell connection as it is thought that Animal Farm was based on Chalk Farm

Mobile Home site is ideally located right on pebble beach. There is a swimming & bar complex which we didn't have time to use. The site is clean & well-maintained. The location is ideal from which to visit Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings which are nearby seaside towns of historical and architectural interest.

There’s not much in Pevensey but the shore is lovely to walk along. The castle is worth a short visit and you can walk there from the beach area. Lovely tea room near the castle in Westham.
Sovereign Harbour is worth a visit, take a boat ride, have lunch etc. Watch the seals in the harbour entrance.

The hotel had a very welcoming feel and the bar and restaurant looked the part of a 1930s pub. The hotel rooms were in a state of renovation. but clean and pleasant. Pevensey was a nice little town with all the shops one needs, very close to the sea.
The location is fabulous - right by the beach, so we went paddling straight away! Just fantastic! Pevensey Bay has a glorious beach, so to be able to access it so easily was marvellous. Our host, Wendy, was so welcoming as well, which was wonderful. The Cabin itself was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything you might need for a short stay including an excellent little bathroom and a small (but fully kitted-out) kitchen, complete with a very thoughtful welcome package of bread, milk and cookies 😊
Lovely property - great space, well laid out, tastefully decorated & appointed. Weather wasn't great for our stay but we still managed to enjoy time in the hot tub and beach hut. Great location, right next to the beach - couldn't be any closer! Parking easy. Bedrooms comfortable with toilet / bathroom on each floor. Would highly recommend for groups of friends / family gatherings. Walkable to Pevensey Castle (~ 30mins each way) and also along coast to Eastbourne (~ 1.5h e/w)
Beautiful old cottage which has been in Graham's family for centuries and has been really taken care of. Not far from the beach at all. We were lucky enough to see a sea-lion. Not far from Pevensey and a short drive to Eastbourne. Nice garden to relax in. Graham's daughters also friendly and helpful. Comfortable, homely, nice place. Would return again. Stairs narrow and steep adds to quaintness. Relaxing and peaceful.
Beautifully decorated - really chic. Fully equipped with everything you’d need. Very clean and tidy too. Hosts were quick to respond to all queries before booking and on arrival too! Thank you!
Close to Pevensey Castle and a short drive to Sovereign Marina (where we saw seals), Eastbourne and Beachy Head.
A great location for a short family, couple or solo stay. Felt really cozy and safe.
The location as far as nearness to beach and the view was superb. The apartment was light, clean and comfortable. Pevensey Bay for local shops and great Pub ( the Castle) Great area for ancient history and ‘Castles’ ..
The hotel was clean, recently refurbished rooms, in a quiet area, with lots of parking. It is self service check in and easy to come in and out as you please. There is a really nice cafe nearby for breakfast
Great location just up the road from the castle. Easy walk to Pevensey Bay and the local stations. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Cosy inside and a nice sun trap in the garden.
Loved all areas, ample room for us (couple), well laid out - very comfortable!
Great places to visit on the doorstep - Eastbourne, Pevensey, Hastings, Bexhill on Sea, St Leonard’s
