Our room had a third bed which made it a little tight on space, but the visit was very enjoyable. All the staff were very friendly. We had some problems with our room keys but these were easily and politely solved. The bar and restaurant ere very comfortable and prices were reasonable.

We stayed for just one night when visiting family. Apart from very creaky floorboards the room was fine, Breakfast was excellent. We will probably stay again.

Great pet friendly hotel in good location.
Great pet friendly hotel in good location. Comfy beds and nice rooms. Good spa facilities and nice bar for lunch and evening meal. Breakfast was a little limited as the food wasn’t refreshed but think this was due to a lack of staff. Check out was slow but there was an issue with other customers that caused the delay. Would stay again as fabulous for dogs.

The staff were very good and attentive.
The staff were very good and attentive. The hotel description of the rooms is different from booking.com as they describe as economy rather than standard alas over £200 for a Saturday you should expect better than very basic. No sleep on our 1st night as every creak from above could be heard. Moved rooms even worse put over toilet block so could hear the hand dryer every time it was used. Eventually moved to decent room late at night and slept

The garden was beautiful, but the experience overall was disappointing. No tables clearwd at breakfast , not attentive . Young bar staff, no knowledge of the drinks .spa , no bathrobes, basic room , no mini bar or room service . Beautiful house and gardens but service lackingd attention , spa had children in it and was not relaxing . Food was good.
it is so peaceful here, such a quiet location and there is no noise disturbance from the corridor or other rooms, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the room was too. The Spa has everything you need and the breakfast probably had the best quality full English serving I've had in a long time - we will definitely be back
The breakfast selection was superb
The hotel was beautiful and our room on 2 levels with a spiral staircase was amazing!
The choice of 2 places to eat and a spa was excellent
The staff were helpful and polite
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were friendly . I asked to be allowed access to my room early due to attending a friend's wedding and my room was ready for my arrival.
