We had a lovely stay in the house. Very clean and cosy with comfortable beds. The owners are very nice people and left us a bottle of fizz and milk. Very attractive historic town, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Attractive harbour. Good location for exploring East Kent (Isle of Thanet in particular). We visited local English Heritage sites (Richborough, Deal, Walmer) and did a tour of the Ramsgate Tunnels (all worthwhile). The Weatherspoons (biggest in UK) was an experience!

Ramsgate is a mixed bag. Sea front, marina and harbour are lovely, with some fantastic restaurants and coffee shops. The town is quite rundown. The property was immaculate with a fantastic sea view. It was a nice 10 minute stroll along the seafront into town where I had an excellent Thai meal. The furnishings were very comfortable and it was just like being in someone's lovely home. I would highly recommend staying at Paragon Home. There was plenty of free street parking available about a 5 minute walk away.

Good value for money considering the location. We booked again. This place isn't the Savoy, it's a good hotel with everything you need at budget prices. There are alot of stairs so I would recommend asking for a room on level 1 if you have asthma or poor mobility.
