Absolutely loved the facilities. The hot tub was great and the time slots for individual use of the pool. It was so quiet and peaceful there, you could really relax. The bed was very comfortable and a lovely bath.

I booked 3 rooms for friends as we were having a party locally. The staff were exceptionally friendly and my friends all had a good stay thank you. The fine dining definitely sounds worth trying (we didn't have a chance this trip).

Rooms at number 4, hotel in Thorpe Market

Set in North Walsham, 14 km from Blickling Hall, Rooms at number 4 offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Convenient, cheap, quite comfortable. Good location close to town centre but easy to park. Plenty of milk and teabags provided. Rooms are quite compact so need to be friendly with the person you are sharing with! Storage was ok for a couple of days. Coat hooks existed. Café next door is owned by same people I think? There is a small discount for guests, and it is a good café. £6.50 for avocado and poached egg on toast is quite reasonable these days!

Not much to say, it was pretty but nothing to see or do there particularly apart from go for a walk in the woods. No shop or pub in the village, although there are 2 pubs relatively nearby - about a mile or 2 away but down narrow lanes with no pavement, so a bit hairy if coming home in the dark.

The accommodation was excellent, it was very clean and comfortable. It is an excellent location to visit local beaches and the National Trust etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having somewhere safe to walk the dog was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The village was picturesque and there was plenty of shops, food etc in nearby North Walsham. Plenty of woodland and countryside around. Due to the present situation we mainly ate in, however Cromer gets a mention as very dog-friendly and a lot of cafes allowed small dogs. Holt was also recommended and for any rail enthusiasts ideally situated for both the North Norfolk and Bure Valley Railways.

Perfect all round, great location for a wedding at The Reading Rooms nearby. Hosts were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were great, lots of choice and served just as you ask. Could have stayed longer and explored the coast more, lots to do and a lovely tranquil few days away
