The hotel is fine the staff were helpful - the room was clean - The pillows were a little soft for my liking but that's just personal preference
Unfortunately there were problems with the WIFI which can happen and was not a huge issue, The real disappointment was the breakfast it was frankly awful the full English did not include bacon which wasn't on the menu strangely so perhaps a little unfair to complain about that - the remainder though was so low on quality, The lone sausage tasted and looked cheap , the scrambled eggs were dry and felt like that they had been cooked some time earlier and finally the fried tomato had only had a passing introduction to frying. Just a very poor breakfast indeed

A small village a few miles to the north of Hertford and Ware and close to the A10 but a definite rural feel.
No public transport in the evenings but a taxi to / from Ware with plenty of pubs and restaurants costs £12/13 one way and there are plenty.
The Feathers is a long established pub / restaurant / hotel popular with locals and visitors alike.

I walked for around 5 minutes around Wadesmill but there wasn't much around. I was hoping to go for an afternoon stroll but found it hard to navigate the busy roads so ended up staying in the comfort of my room in the feathers.
Apparently there is a nice circular walk to do around there but I found it difficult to locate the starting point.

There for a meet up with some friends over a meal and some drinks . Very pleased to see that as a vegan there was a variety of meals that I could eat. Clean, comfortable room . Wouldn’t hesitate to go back
We consider ourselves very fortunate to discover The Feathers in Wadesmill. Everything exceeded our expectations! The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and well equip, with a large number of power points. The bathroom was huge and the shower was easy to use! All of the staff were extremely friendly, charming and helpful, especially Brad and Rain! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious with a large and varied number of choices. Would highly recommend and we look forward to staying there again when next in the area!
The room, had everything we needed, was slightly smaller then we thought it would be, but still great.
The tea and coffee making facilities were good, would have been nice to have a few more milk and tea/coffee sachets, but did managed to grab a few at breakfast. Was prime location for what we needed, hotel receptionist was able to provide us with the local taxi firms numbers. Shower was lovely, adjustable heat settings, ideal after a 4 hour car journey
The Feathers is a really friendly and welcoming place to stay. The pub has been beautifully refurbished and the food was excellent. The hotel accommodation was also beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable and the staff were lovely. The car park was easily accessible and the whole ambiance of the place was relaxed and friendly. Even though we only stayed one night for a birthday dinner for my husband, we felt like we’d been on a mini vacation.
We booked a family room as we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. Room was a good enough size. Beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept in, including at some top London hotels. Room was very clean, ironing table available, kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. Room was nice and quiet, we even managed a lie in. Also wonderful to see a good check out time (11am)
Parking a-plenty. We sadly missed breakfast due to said lie in
It's clear that a lot of effort and thought has gone into the hotel. The decor is modern and tasteful and there are nice touches such in the room. The staff are also very friendly and helpful, and there's plenty of parking (this was important for me as I was driving a large hire van!).
Breakfast options are good and there's nice tea and coffee options in the room.
The place was fantastic, we stay at this location for our friends wedding, we arrived quite late and Ross at the reception was fantastic and welcoming, there was a little confusion with the rooms but that was resolved quickly and efficiently, will definitely stay at this hotel again if we visit Ware again in the future and good luck to your travels Ross
Hotel room was nice, just very low ceilings. The family room bed was not so good. Very uncomfortable for an adult to sleep in. I slept in the main bed with my son and the other adult slept in the sofa bed. Not the best night sleep as the sofa bed was very thin.
Great size room for a single room, and a queen size bed instead of single.
Lovely shower
Friendly housekeeping staff.
Had issue with another hotel guest using my room number for ordering their breakfast ,after phone call helpful receptionist refunded my money.
We were very impressed with the hotel, staff in restaurant very helpful when 2 relatives turned up who were not expected, moving tables to accommodate them at our celebrations, very impressed thank you.
The staff were all just lovely. Felt like we were staying with friends vs at a hotel. From the check in staff to the brilliant scouse waiter to the lovely lady at breakfast. Really enjoyed ourselves.
