Really welcoming and friendly staff. Great having a pub just across from my room for drinks and dinner. The food was excellent. Very lovely scenery of the river and lock overlooking the countryside.

Great location, fuel station next door, Tesco express close by. Right on A5 main road and A45 road. Staff professional and polite. Outside could do with a lick of paint, room I stayed in very tired and needed an upgrade. Stayed here 4 years ago and still has the same Decore and pictures on walls. Firm bed but not for me, too hard. Price paid for room excellent, staying for just one night was ok. Bathroom again tired and needs upgrading.

Liked · Overall, the room was comfortable, the location for getting to our destination (Dodmoor House for a wedding) was perfect and it was relatively easy to get a Taxi with Midland Taxi (based in Daventry just down the road). Bed was comfortable, room clean and had customer controlled electric radiator. Provided bedclothes and blankets were of good quality. Disliked · Because the property is located separate to the pub and the pub doesn't open until 10am, we had to wait outside the pub to attract the attention of the staff to ask any questions when we wanted to check out a little earlier (Admittedly this was before the "check out at 10am" time that was mentioned). Breakfast is also served when the pub opens at 10am rather than a more standard time - but it made things a bit awkward. The main function of the property is really a pub/restaurant and this shows through in that this is where their focus is. Window handles in the room "tiller" were loose (needed doing up) and the door to the room let through a lot of noise from the road despite being set back from the road by a good 50 metres.

Stayed at Weedon Bec for a local wedding reception.

Stayed at Weedon Bec for a local wedding reception. It is very local to small town to get few amenities in local Tesco. Also close to few other hotels and restaurants. Fifteen of our group ate in the Chef & Brewer pub connected. Food was lovely and served quickly by nice friendly staff. Small version of breakfast next morning was ample, well cooked and good value.

Aparently green king are going to upgrade this hotel. !!

Aparently green king are going to upgrade this hotel. !! They are getting rough workmen staying here so filling the rooms. The receptionist had 8 complaints the same day as I spoke to her. I asked to speak to the manager. He was not available. Waited until he came on duty. He had been there 5 weeks. He had stains down his jumper. Looked unkempt like his hotel! The room was disgusting. One toilet roll. Broken toilet roll holder. Towels with holes in. My feet got dirty walking on the old tired bathroom floor. Our room was changed. Slightly better. Tv did not work. But towels had no holes in!! Have never stayed anywhere worse. !! The only good thing I can say is radiators hot !! BBC I stay in hotels every 2 to 3 weeks in spain where I live . Some Ibis not expensive but clean modern and perfect!! I was ashamed to be back in the uk!! What would I avoid. Crossroads Hotel Weedon!!! The manager said I could have my money back but would have to take it up with booking . Com So booking . Com . I would like a refund!!!

    Convenient location. Average quality food.

Convenient location. Average quality food. Took last room for a family and there was only two of us but didn't mind paying the extra. Unfortunately the place is very dated and the shower didn't work which was a trial for us OAP's! I wouldn't stay again unless I couldn't get in anywhere else. Unfortunately, its a sign of the times with all of these hotels. We didn't complain to the staff because they have enough to deal with.

The entrance lobby to the rooms smelled damp. The bathroom had broken tiles with some falling off the wall, a loose toilet and seat, paint flaking off the ceiling above the shower and lots of mouldy silicone. The furniture in the bedroom is very old but the room appeared clean. Beds were comfy with lovely clean linen. The accommodation is very tired and desperately needs updating however all the staff within the hotel and bar were extremely friendly, helpful and a massive positive for the premises.

The room was fantastic! My partner and I travelled with two small children so we needed a travel cot (which the hotel provided for us) The room was huge and had more than enough space for all four of us. The bed was super comfortable, and there was plenty of floor space for the kids to play and run around. Staff were all super kind and more than willing to help for anything.

Location - ecellent for my purposes, I needed to be in Weedon Bec village, less than 3 miles away. Room - clean & functional, not the most comfortable bed but ok for one night. Bathroom - very clean, good size shower. Free parking right outside the room - excellent. Good pub garden, although a lot of the tables are definitely due for replacing.

The location of the hotel to the dance event we were going to in Daventry was brilliant. The food at the onsite pub was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Our waitress was very accommodating with our individual requests. Loved the view from our room.

The hotel was not there. My money was taken despite your assurance that I would pay on arrival. The telephone number on the confirmation was for another hotel in Sussex called The Seckford Hotel and Spa.. I have contacted my Nat west fraud squad.

The bedroom was clean, warm and spacious. The hotel is a bit tired looking, but it's great value for money. We had a good dinner in the restaurant, and there's plenty of parking spaces available.
