Best property for honeymooners. Serene environment.

Best property for honeymooners. Serene environment. Nice ambience. Coconut was available at all times for refreshment. However, there wasn't much activities to entertain guests during the festive season and the TV room was too small to accommodate interested guests on movie nights.

Akosombo is a very quiet town, but the resort offers so much you may not even need to go into the town itself. The resort is very self-contained with everything you'll ever need for your stay there.

The first time I visited Akosombo was in 1999, and it was during my spouses first visit to Ghana and we wanted to visit the Akosombo Dam, the largest man-made lake in the world. It was great to go back, spend the night and see more of the town. We got a guided tour of the dam and spent enough time to admire the engineering marvel. The roads in Akosombo are good and easy to get around.
