Only 5 minutes walk from the airport and you pass by a good large supermarket selling all you need at reasonable prices. The owners welcome you on arrival as they live at the property so you can be certain if you need anything they will help you. Very personal touches by the owners will give us lasting memories of this superb modern apartment. It is a very good option if you arrive at the airport late when all bus services have stopped so no need to pay for a rip off taxi fare to wherever. There is even an oven if you need to cook say a pizza....some places do not have ovens. There is a patio area where you can sit for your meal etc or a good sized table in the kitchen/dining area. The bedroom is separate as is the shower room. There is a washing machine although we didn't need it, plus iron etc. They provided soaps etc also. The bus stop is at the airport to get to the 3 main towns. Be sure to follow all the Arrows to where the bus stand is. It is 200 metres, past a car park and has a shelter. In other words, turn left out of the airport building. Check on line the times as some timetables may be out of date. You will have a good time here and wish you'd have stayed longer.

We chose this accomodation because it is very close to the Kos airport. The appartment is comfortable and well equipped. There is a shop just opposite the house and a café is downstairs.

We stayed at Mastichari and it proved to be a great choice for the second week of August because there was always some breeze comparing to other places were the heat was unbearable. The beach is long and sandy but has also a lot of seaweed. It’s a small place, nothing exceptional but nice connection to other islands and for touring around Kos. Good food and friendly locals 👍🏻
