Eresos and Skala Eresou are good combination for a 4/5 days stay in Lesvos. You have a typcal greek village and in 4 kms a sea side village with lots of food alternatives and a beatiful sandy beach.Hakan SevergeTurkey - 10Scored 10

Eressos is a very friendly village, everything is there, simple and affectively. Post office, bakery, restaurants (daily caught fish on menus). I choose to walk to Skala Eresos/the beach just 4 km away, passing through beautiful countryside to The Aegean Sea. The following day I trekked to Scalia, along the coast. It's possible to visit The Petrified Forest Museum(closes at half four). Evidence of the after affects of the last eruption before the volcano burnt itself out and now offers a panoramic view, allowing you to see the crater and surrounding area. Driving back on the modern highway, you pass The Monastery in its auspicious location and within 12km find your way back to Eresos Village. Visiting out of season really suited me (November). Lots happening throughout the year. Bird watching in May, Women's Festival in the Summer. Fantastic area of Lesbos Island.

The finishing as well as the quality of finishes in the room was very good. The breakfast was very good and the lady that prepared it and then served is was very pleasant - an asset to the establishment. The spa is very nicely done and a treatment is well worth the time. The pool area is also lovely - a great place to relax and unwind after a day exploring the island. The toiletries provided by the hotel were of a high standard.IanSouth Africa
