A stunning view from the balcony. This was a fantastic apartment with everything you could need for a great stay. Very conveniently close to the main square so an easy 5 minute walk to a restaurant. The host was very accommodating as we booked last minute but they were very friendly and helpful. We just wish we could

I liked the hotel location and a breathtaking mountain and sea view. The owner of the hotel welcomed us with incredible hospitality. The hotel is built in stone. It's a great place in that location.

In the southern part of the village of Tsagkarada, on a hill overlooking the sea and the village, is the Diogenis Hotel.
The hotel is built in a rustic style and the rooms are really pampering. We rented a triple room and a double room. Both were beautifully designed. The double bed is designed as a four-poster bed. The interior design of the rooms is even more beautiful than the photos on the website.
Chrisa and her husband (the owners of the hotel) run it at the highest level.
We felt it was not just a hotel but a home.
Chrisa and her husband helped with every request and question, spoiled us beyond any expectation. Always made sure we felt comfortable and safe.
The beds are big (even for tall people like me) and the mattresses are very comfortable.
The breakfast served is just great. The fresh bread baked every morning, pies, omelets, salads, spreads, cakes, cold and hot drinks and more. Everything from fresh and high-quality raw materials. Definitely at a higher level than breakfasts in 5-star hotels.
The whole hotel and the rooms in particular are very clean.
The location of the hotel is excellent for anyone who comes with a car because there is a lot of parking (unlike in the villages), especially for a large car.
Set amidst an olive grove right in front of the sea, Faros offers rooms with unobstructed sea views and has an on-site museum and a restaurant.

What I felt about Faros was that I had entered a dream of mine. That is, a place I have always dreamed about somehow, and now the dream had come true. It begins with its being situated far away from any tourist hum, in the middle of an olive grove and garden, and right on the sea. And it has to do with the special quality of light in the place, because the rooms are so filled with light which comes both from the mountain and olives and from the sea. I felt this way about my room too, because not only was it large, with large windows and balcony doors, but, since I had requested and received a corner room, it opened onto an enormous balcony overlooking both the olive groves on the mountain slope and the sea, and with a huge chestnut tree growing onto it. The entire house and grounds are beautiful. One could go on, but perhaps at this stage it is enough to just say it is unique. Like a unicorn, except that it actually exists.
Part of this is that the meals at Faros - they serve breakfast and dinner - are truly exceptional. Every dinner was different and excellent in its own way. Yasmine has great pride in her cooking, and justly so. It means that every little thing is wonderfully done and beautifully served. All the staff are very pleasant and friendly. I long to return to Faros.
This is one of the most traditional villages - a must visit!

Pelion is a special destination. You either love it or hate it.
It has everything, from mountain and a cute ski center to beautiful beaches. As it combines so many different concepts nothing is really spacial but the over all feeling is amazing!
You get the full experience of nature's diversity in a very condense way that you will remember forever.
People are very friendly and and you can really enjoy the taste of simple - but not plain - life. Although you can also find luxury offers it is not the place for that.

The location is well suited for daily trips to other villages of Pelion. In Mileai village you can find a couple of cafes and some traditional taverns, a nice square (not the best in Pelion but not bad either) and a beautiful church. The view is also very nice and there is enough life morning or night.

Ideal situation for walkers with signposted paths.
Ideal situation for walkers with signposted paths. Centrally placed for beaches. Four tavernas in the village and more around. The only downside is a car is a must for getting further afield, although parking in the village can be a problem.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Every single corner was just so pretty I wanted to photograph it all - the seating area under the shade of a tree, the breakfast patio framed with lanterns and linen curtains, the view from my balcony out to the ocean... My room was comfortable, clean and beautiful and was the perfect place to arrive to after a long hike from Chania. The next morning I had possibly one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Do not miss out!
Within easy walking distance of the central Plateia of Milies. Good starting point for hikes in the Pilion and down to the sea. Some parking spaces available at the hotel Very rich breakfast. Amazing view from rooms and terrace of the breakfast room. Comfortable room, good beds and bathroom. Owners friendly, but with limited ability to speak English.
This was a lovely family run hotel! The family who run it were so lovely and really contributed to the special feel of the place. The breakfast was incredible full of home made food like butter, jam and honey! The rooms were really big with fantastic views and the location was perfect for Milies. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Beautiful boutique hotel. Fab room - all high tech but with lovely handcrafted woodwork. Best shower in Greece. Balcony with great view over railway. So peaceful- listening to the trickle of water and the birds singing. Very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing esp the setting
